Overall not good and ended terribly with a very nasty, aggressive and upsetting phone call and several texts from Lise - even to the point of making personal comments including 'you are disgusting people.'
Firstly, on arrival, the place looks very tired. For example, wallpaper peeling, a musty dusty smell and the paint off the window frames are peeling. The place did seem clean and was well presented.
We booked this for our honey moon from August 13-20th. We actually left a day early due to the noise from upstairs going on until 4 am (partying, music, shouting, playing piano etc.)
When we arrived, the first thing Lise said to us was 'Wow, you look very young to be married. Can I see your rings?' I felt this was very rude and intrusive as it wasn't said in a congratulatory tone.
We left the place by washing ALL the dishes we had used and left them in the drainer to dry (yes the drainer was full and we did not dry them and put everything away but everything was washed). We took all our rubbish from all the rooms, bagged it up and left it in the kitchen (admittedly one big black bag and a few carrier bags from one weeks worth of food and drink.) We left our dirty towels in a pile on the floor to clearly indicate they were dirty and left out the blanket we had used to also clearly indicate we had used it.
After leaving early, the next day we got a phone call demanding more money to cover the cost of the 'state we had left it in.' We did ask Lise what exactly she meant by this but didn't elaborate and kept saying that it was a disgusting mess - we had not broken anything, stolen anything and we left it in a good way. We refused to pay the extra petty £20 'to cover the cost' and as Lise said 'to restore her faith in students'. This was followed with abusive texts ... we were called disgusting people, she said we had no integrity, and most of all she had the audacity to accuse us of lying about being married (we are married, but this should have no bearing on anything anyway.)
Overall, an okay stay and a horrible ending that left us both feeling very upset.

Very nice self catering holiday let. No parking available but reasonably priced parking over the bridge. Definitely recommend & would stay here again if going to Brecon area.

We spent a lovely weekend at N° 6 Boleyn House. Lise's personal touch was very welcome, we loved the wine, welsh cakes and flowers. The flat was cosy, clean and central and we'd love to go back again one day for longer. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for afew days, the owner meet us to give us keys and to give a run down about the house. There was a bottel of wine and Welsh cakes to greet us and she even said that she would refund us a day as we could not drive up on our scheduled day due to the heavy snow fall. The house is situated in the centre of the town and there is parking about 5 minutes drive away. Enjoyed ourselves staying in the house, well equipped kitchen and has a very cosy front room.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. The flat was perfect for our needs and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It is a great base for exploring the area and we hope to come back again next year. Thank you Lise.

A delightful cottage, No. 6 is conveniently located with a pub close by. Lise is lovely, the Welsh cakes superb and the other little touches made this a perfect short break.

I stayed in No6 Boleyn House this summer and it was perfect - centrally placed (I was meeting up with friends in Brecon) and had everything I needed. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Lovely little gem of an apartment. Very clean and everything there you could possibly need. Fantastic location. We booked the apartment late on the day we stayed...Lise was extremely accommodating and friendly and gave us good tips about eating places etc. Would definitely stay again.
