Skerryback Farm Cottages

Lovely accommodation and setting. Unfortunately Hoseasons messed up our booking leaving us with nowhere to stay after a 7 hour drive. Thankfully Paul and Lesley together with Philip the owner sorted us out and made sure we everything we needed and allowed us to use the empty cottages they had available.
The accommodation is comfortable, clean, very spacious but homely. Our two teenagers loved the pool table and table tennis in the games room. Highly recommended.

Restful, peaceful and beautiful. Perfect antidote to a busy working life. Lovely accommodation in a lovely setting. What else could you need?

Good quality and good value accommodation. Managers very attentive. Beach and coastal walks just two minutes away, loads to see and do within a 20 minutes drive.

Very friendly owners and very warm set up. Though our cottage does not have a good view but the space in itself is quite nice and comforting.

Great relaxing place, lovely accommodation. Clean and cozy. Lovely walks along the coast path. Pebble beach with access to lovely sandy beach and rock pools when the tide is out.

We stayed in Grassholm at Skerryback Farm Cottages and were very disappointed because the various websites descriptions did not correspond with our actual experience. We were misled by the misrepresentations into making a booking through Sykes. The site manager agreed that there was no WiFi in any room, only in the garden. The site manager instructed us not to use the log burner because the heat would damage the property. Some photos of the accommodation did not correspond with the actual furniture on our stay. These photos misrepresented the space available, which we found cramped in the living room. The site manager instructed us not to park outside the property, but instead in space 40 yards away. This was inconvenient when loading and unloading our car. The nearest shop was stated to be a mile away. However, this is Herbrandston, only accessible on foot across stepping stones and not two hours either sides of high tide. The nearest shop by car is 4.7 miles away. We contacted Sykes on the second day of our holiday and they have never replied. The contract is with the landlord and Sykes were reluctant to provide their name and address. The landlord has provided unsatisfactory replies to the misrepresentations. The landlord has not replied to our second letter before legal action claiming compensation of £180 for breach of contract.
