Great self storage company, I have been using them for at least 25 years, initially having 3 large storage rooms, now down to a small 30 sq ft. Large or small customer, they have looked after me incredibly well over the years. Paul, the present manager is approachable and always on the other end of the phone if I need help. Long opening hours, communal areas kept clean. I would highly recommend Magenta Self Storage!

We used Magenta in Oxford for a two month period relating to a house move. We were able to begin using our unit straight away and also book in for additional space very easily. The staff, especially Martina, were professional, friendly and efficient and the storage unit was clean and easy to access. I would have no hesitation in recommending Magenta as it provided a first class facility and resource.

We are using Magenta Self Storage for more than 20 years. The storage is clean, safe, the staff very polite and dedicated and the rent is quite cheap actually. If anybody needs a storage, they have many of different size, that is the place to go.

I have stored goods at the Oxford branch of Magenta for 9 months and I have always found the staff helpful. They have quickly responded to any queries that I have had. The storage facility is clean and easily accessible and there are loos for the customers to use.

Great place. Have used them for years. Paul the manager is a legend and Tony the old guy with a stutter is a gem. Tidy place, easy access hours, very competitive on price... cannot recommend this outfit more highly!

I cannot fault the staff or service I receive from Magenta Nottingham. So much so, I haven't cancelled my storage as I would miss them so much. NOTHING is too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS SELF STORAGE WORST SERVICE AND WORST STAFF EVER!!!!!!!

I wanted to leave my stuff to a safe place while l was in search of a home. The whole duration would be 18 days and therefore they new l would be taking my stuff on 1st Oct. When l went and spoke with the reception they ensured me that they would sent me a link to pay online the invoice. I gave them both my mobile number and my email which l even wrote down on my phone and showed it to the person taking my details so as to be sure he had it correctly. Apparently staff was incompetent to check properly and they put in their system the wrong email. I left thinking that everything was alright. In the meantime l received no email and no phone call. I thought it was strange but l knew l was leaving on a fixed date 2 weeks later so l would be able to sort out the payment on the day l was taking my stuff.
When l went that day, due to some delays from the van man l had hired, l reached their office 30min after they had closed. By my surprise they had added a second padlock on my unit and of course l wouldnt be able to take my stuff. Despite there was a man in the office, when l called the manager she told me that l hadn't paid my invoice (that was never sent to me in the first place) and that l had an unreasonable late charge fee on top of the initial amount. They didn't even allow me. To pay on that day as they were out of office despite they had someone at the place. I asked why didn't they didn't contact me all this time. Their response was they tried to contact me via email numerous times. They acted surprised l hadn't received anything. However later on they disclosed that all their emails bounced back. They knew l had no knowledge they were trying to contact me. They grossly neglected to use any other means of communication and notify me that they are having issues despite they had my correct mobile number all along. They completely and suspiciously conveniently forgot to notify me beforehand of the fact that they apply extra and hidden charges on top of the original amount and when l asked why they didn't try to call me all this time since they knew l had not received any of their emails they replied that it is my responsibility to call them and ask if everything is fine!! Well guess what, l do not run this business and it is your job to keep your customers happy, sth that you utterly failed to do!!

I had to pay for a van man twice to go there another day and collect my stuff, on top of the unreasonable price they asked me to pay in order for them to release my stuff.

I am filing a complaint against their business at the Companies House and also taking it to the Consumer Protection Ombudsman!!

Note, this is moving to Bollo Lane. Simple perfectly decent storage service. Own space,fill it up, visit when you need to. Hasn't had the widest opening hours in the past, far from 24/7 esp. Sunday short hours which is a pain since it is a useful jobs day to pull stuff in and out.
