I’d have preferred giving them a 0 star rating but sadly that’s not an option.
Terrible service. No way to communicate other than email.

After spending over 7 months in a property through iRooms-UK I cannot urge people enough to avoid them!

They controlled our heating, which was 4 hours of heating per day, during winter!! If we wanted to increase the heating we were warned “do not touch the boiler because it’s very expensive and you don’t want the bill if it breaks” so my flat mates and I had to live in freezing conditions and constantly have duvets to keep warm throughout the evenings.

Our sink was blocked and the shower had a slower stream than a trickle 9 times out of 10 which was amplified by the heat! We had no cold running water in the shower which resulted in an experience worse than Satan himself would give you!!

They charged us £20 per person a month for cleaning which was terrible, if the cleaners spend more than 30 minutes in the property I’d be impressed.

I genuinely felt like I’d won the lottery when I told them I was leaving and had secured alternative living.

They’re literally like a militant organisation who only care that you pay rent on time otherwise they’ll fine you and threaten eviction after 3 days.

AVOID!

I must say that iRoom-UK team are hard working and professional and they are truly deserving of their reputation as one of the best shared accommodation providers in London.

We have been cooperating with them for quite some time now and would be more than happy to recommend iRoom-UK to anyone whether you are a landlord or a perspective tenant that would benefit from a friendly and a hassle-free service.

I was happy to receive my job offer in such a great city and iRoom-UK made my stay comfortable and joyful. Communication is quick and easy, everything is organized professionally with care about the customers. I definitely made the right choice! I give you all five stars, guys.

Good selection of rooms for a reasonable price. Very fast communication and turn around time for contract. I was able to move in with my friend the same day we viewed the room. We also got bedding package which took all the hassle of carrying these bulky duvets and pillows from the shop.

The team at iRoom were super-professional from day one. I was anxious about sharing a home, being in my mid-30s. I explained to them that I needed a short-term let while I waited for my next tenancy. They took the time to listen, where other agencies hadn't, and gave me several options to suit my needs. Every option presented was liveable, clean, comfortable and tidy - some of the places I'd been shown by other agencies I wouldn't allow a dog to stay in! The rental prices are also great value for money and the fact that bills are included minimises any stress as you know exactly what your outgoings are.

I would recommend this agency to anyone new to London, or anyone that needs a stop-gap in-between properties. The customer service is efficient and friendly and the ladies are on hand at all hours of the day.

They deserve the full five stars, which I would not give out lightly.

My experience with i-roomuk was really positive. I needed an accommodation quickly and there was no problem with that. I got a nice, freshly decorated room. It is easy to contact the agents. Maintenance team was very responsive and if there were any issues they tried to solve it asap. Cleaning was absolutely great. I really appreciate all the work that was put to make my stay pleasant.
Also I had no problem to get my deposit back.

Unlike quite a few letting agents in London, I had a really good experience with iRoom and would recommend them for anyone moving in London. They were always really quick to respond to emails and to send someone out if there were any issues with the property. We also had a weekly cleaner who was really good! Got my deposit back quickly too. They do have a lot of specific rules for their properties which is probably my only negative complaint.

Awful, avoid at all cost! Unprofessional, maintenance service as good as non-existent, additional fees at every possible corner, threats to evict tenants if they don't comply and pay for things that weren't agreed upon. Basically trying to rip off foreigners on a limited budget with no other options.
