Me and my kids had a wonderful stay at this property for 2 nights. Spacious, quite and comfortable beds. It was so nice to be in a place with a full size fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer machine. Such a added bonus compared to all the other places we stayed in our 5 week trip to Europe.

The staff was extra impressive - so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Shout out to the door man (forgot his name), and Peter at the front desk. Super hosts!

Rooms slightly dated, wooden floors could do with an update but cannot fault the service and cleanliness of the rooms. The bed was very comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in ages. Great location - stones throw away from earls Court Station. Would return again

This place is pretty bad. Booked many months ahead and asked for no basement and of course showed up and they gave us a basement apartment. Items of note: under cabinet lights don’t work, had to find a flip breaker for skylight to close, skylight blinds are broken, found several beetles laying around, chair is broken, very dusty floor, tiny bathroom sink where washing your face means soaking yourself and the floor, no electrical plugs in bathroom, bathroom has no storage so all items need to be stored in the hallway wardrobe, bathtub is tiny to even stand in (as wide as my foot is long), French press and cooking pans are in poor condition, no instructions for washer/dryer and oven, pillows are flat and mushy and bed is very soft and lumpy, very poor TV channel selection, etc, etc.

Great location, friendly staff. Rooms have a washing machine which is super useful on a longer trip. Two minutes walk to Earl's Court station. Lovely building. Take the time to walk ten minutes and visit the Brompton Cemetery which is a peaceful haven.

The staff are extremely nice but the room are so dated . All the furniture is scratched and the TV,s are like 20 years old. The amount you pay does not match this place. No powder left for washing machine , they make you pay. Will never stay here again

Convenience is the biggest pros. Only 5 min walk from Earl’s Court station and there’s pretty much everything you’d need around the area - M&S, Boots, cafés, takeaways, pubs and restaurants, etc.

HOWEVER, there are several cons:
1. The street is a little dodgy as street dwellers have made their home out of some vacant buildings. Don’t know what exactly is going on there but it felt dangerous to walk after dark, even at 6pm.
2. Receptionist - particularly the Welsh guy. He didn’t bother acknowledging me walking into the hotel and gave me absolutely no information about using the facilities in the studio at check-in. He also went like “You’re staying for 2 nights?”, and I said three then he was like “Ah, whatever, same thing,” which got me questioning as to why he even bothers to come to work.
3. I got studio at -1 and the quality of the room was so bad: the room is so tiny and worn out, the windows to the mini garden were unlockable, my bin was broken and kettle was so dirty, no sound-proof you could hear anything from your neighbours, insects crawling into the room, the 2-in-1 washer-dryer technically just steams the washings instead of drying and my room still had food smells (salmon💀) from previous guest until day 2.
4. Their wifi network is not secure. If you get a room on basement, your regular phone network won’t work so you should rely on their unencrypted wifi, which puts you at risk of being hacked.
5. The price. I know it’s London, but a grand (paid in AU$) for 3 nights is a total rip-off considering all these downsides.

This was one of the most dirty place ever. First I arrived in the first room and there was a white sticky thing on the table don’t even ask me what that is I’m still grossed about it. The curtains had stains, down the nightstand there were dirt and hair. Then I directly came upstairs to be refunded and leave this place right away and the show started. Basically, lies but also manipulation. They « upgraded » me to another room even though I never asked for it but since « management was not there » they couldn’t do anything else or they couldn’t assure me I would get my money back if I leave. No surprise that room was also disgusting. Stains on the chair, dirt, hair in the closet and the better for the end mold behind the sink. I told them the next day but since I « accepted » the room (didn’t have choice) it was like that, they wouldn’t refund me and wished me a « happy stay ». I hate write reviews like that but it was absolutely disgusting. I just wanted to leave not to stay for free. AVOID this place

This was our fourth time staying here in 10 years. The first time was spectacular, it’s gone steadily downhill since. The location is good and the housekeeping is excellent. In my opinion, there’s much that can be improved upon:
1) The mattresses need to be replaced. The bed is made up of two twin “mattresses” that can fairly be described as medieval torture devices. It felt like we were sleeping directly on a very old box spring. I literally cried through the first night and leaving with back pain, never got a single good night sleep in 7 nights there. Awful.
2) They need to add shelves in the bathroom. There are none and it’s annoying to have nowhere to put your toiletries. A couple of knobs for coats in the foyer would be appreciated as well.
3) The Wi-Fi is non-existent. We found one spot in the stairwell that worked on occasion.
4) There’s no temperature control in the room. The room was very cold most of the time and there was nothing to be done about it.
5) A dish towel and potholder in the kitchen should be added. We had to use facecloths as potholders and dish towels.
6) Check in: this is a big problem. Their check out time is noon so for many people arriving early morning from overnight flights, we were forced to wait 7 hours for a room to be ready for check in. We ended up wasting an entire day not having slept wandering around like zombies in yesterdays underpants. We had even emailed them days in advance about the early arrival. Management has check out at noon, which is late by all standards. If they would move it up to 10am, they could check people in by noon or sooner. This is clearly more of an issue on the front end (check in) than the back end (check out), we could clearly see others loitering in the lobby waiting for their room to become available as we were.
Unless we’re assured some changes were made, we would never stay here again.
