Not very impressed with this accommodation to be honest.
We were placed into the "loft suite" which resembled the type of accommodation Willy Wonka would have booked should he wished to treat his Oompa Loompas to a day at the seaside given that most of the ceilings were no higher than five feet.
The ceiling itself sported three skylights which, being on the roof, blazed in the sun giving the room the heat of a Brazilian rain forest. Ideal for the grapes and tomatoes which were fully ripe by the end of the weekend.
The bathroom had a useful shower which again was low on space. We found that if you turned it on, slid into the bath like a seal attempting to pick out a trout from a river then sat in the bath to complete your daily washing rituals, a decent clean could be achieved.
Whilst pictures are provided they are not adorned into the walls however, should you wish to gaze upon them, nails and screws are sticking out of the tired and patchy painted walls ready to use at no extra cost.
Facility wise there was a microwave, crockery and cutlery. No fridge is provided as this had clearly melted under the scorching oven like temperatures. An iron can be found next to the invisible ironing board and a TV with a control that has a mind of its own can be easily propped up against a chair should you wish to view it.
We were overjoyed to find white chocolate wafers on every bed but disappointed to find out these thin and sad looking items were in fact pillows. As a tip though, if you fold them several times they actually make a great ear bud to block out any noise from outside.
In summary, if you are looking for a holiday in South Wales to not only get away but also punish your family for a wrong doing this accommodation is ideal. It will both confuse and treat your family at the same time whilst enabling you to interrogate them, if required, under the Guantanamo style heat above.

The loft suite was fine except that we kept on knocking our heads on the ceiling. Bathroom rather cramp. Quiet residential area except for a neighbour who was testing his motorbike and making a lot of noise at night.

The worst place I have ever stayed in. Appalling condition, ridiculous. Please note that it is in Bon -Y - Maen, known as one of most criminalised places in the UK. Do not take the bait of the cheap price, you will SERIOUSLY regret it.

Good size room and clean sheets in a quiet residential area is the only thing I would rate this place on. The bed was completely broken, we slept on 'springs and holes' for 2 days. TV not connected to areal and area cable too short to be plugged to the TV. Cheapest, dullest furniture in the room. Noisy doors and shared facilities (bathroom and toilets), where it was the only place to get water from to fill in the kettle. Brownish liquid - potentially shower gel that I would not have dared tried. Clearly the place to catch tourists once. Once only, as we paid a lot for last minute. We certainly won't return. AirB&B will be our option. Shame, Swansea bay beaches and sceneries are out of this world.

Booked this accomondtion via Expedia for the August Bank Holiday for two nights. THIS PLACE ISN'T OPEN. We travelled from OX16 just to see a card advising it isn't a B&B or AirBnb and to contact the booking agency. Still waiting for our money to be refunded!!! DO NOT BOOK!!!!

They have apparently left the country and you cannot contact them by the phone or email provided. This property is listed on many booking sites and the true property owner is trying to take the listings down.

I am a neighbor of cerys guest house it is no longer a guest house people are turning up and paying money's on line and when you get here the house is closed and no entry to house I now the owner and they told me the house is no longer a guest house.please be aware try phoning the people who run it is impossible. Emails get declined...

I would give it zero if possible. Arrived and the place was closed and could not get an answer on the phone number provided. I ended up having to get another hotel nearby and to add insult to injury they then refused me a refund on Hotels.com
