Sew Forest of Dean Sewing Workshops

I recently attended a 'learn to love your sewing machine' workshop and really enjoyed the whole day! It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with plenty of giggles as well as learning a huge amount. Jen makes you feel totally at ease and shares so many tips and tricks along the way. I am definitely planning my next workshop! Thank you! Xx

Just to say a huge thank you to Jennifer at Sew Forest of Dean. Thoroughly enjoyed our beginners course for Patchwork Quilting, it went by far too quickly. Will definitely do more courses when able to. Jennifer is a very calm tutor and makes you feel at ease all the time. The workshop is cosy and comfortable in lovely surroundings, all working at socially distance spacing and necessary hand sanitisation. If there is one thing which keeps me going throughout a busy and stressful week, it’s my Thursday evenings with Jen and the girls in the cabin! We sew, chat, drink tea but mostly have lots of laughs whilst working on our own projects. The support, encouragement and hints and tips are invaluable in this informal group. Just what is needed at the end of a busy week.

I highly recommend this course 👍 I learnt so much and Jennifer had so many great tips too. I achieved so much on my sewing machine that I never would have attempted before. Learnt how to do button holes and zips and left with a fabulous zip bag. Thank you

Really enjoyed this workshop. I have attached photo's of my finished project. A quilt as you go lap quilt. I can thoroughly recommend Jen's workshops for beginner quilters like me.

Jen is a clear, experienced and helpful tutor. She has a wealth of knowledge and is generous in sharing her hints and tips. (I recently attended Jen’s wreath course and learnt a huge amount in the time.) The studio is perfect - it’s hard not to be distracted by her work! I’ve already started looking for my next course.
