Sew it seams

I have had clothes both made and altered and would recommend Sew it Seams to anyone. the clothes they made were absolutely outstanding. as a short person I often need my trousers altered they always do a fantastic job at brilliant low prices.

I designed a dress and had the ladies from sew it seams make it for me. They made it exactly as I wanted it and at a very reasonable price too. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends

Sew it seams they saw me coming. I wanted four pairs of cargo trousers turned into shorts ready for the summer. The stitching looks like a two year old had a go whilst being tickled by mr blobby.
Whoever was in charge of the scissors must have a terrible case of epilepsy. I wanted them to be 27 inches long from waist to leg hem. They managed to get one pair right. Two were 28 inches long and one pair was 29 inches long on one leg and 28 inches on the other!
They had a cheek to charge me £8 a pair. Avoid at all costs.

Further to this comment, today I took the shorts to another alterations shop to have the shorts put right as I have no confidence in sew it seams. The tailor there commented that it was the worse stitching he has seen.
Anyway, I have had to pay an extra £40 to sort the mess out. So I would like sew it seams to do the right thing and refund my original payment.

It is only slanderous if it is untrue. I chose to use a more professional company to rectify your appalling workmanship as I had absolutely no confidence in you putting your disgracefull work right.
I have photographs of the substandard stitching and an indipendant witness, so if you wish to seek legal advice it is entirely your perogative.
I have chosen to use this means to contact you as I feel it is only right to warn other potential customers of yours.
As for having the offcuts to prove the lengths. How easy would it be for you to trim them to the same lengths to cover your errors?
As a customer, I expect to get a reasonable service for my money. On this occasion you have fallen extremely short of the mark.
Ah, so there it is. "The person who sewed the shorts no longer works for us as a result of this." Therefore you are admitting your shoddy work which goes hand in hand with your disgracefull customer service. As a result I think it is only fair that you should refund my original payment.
By the way, how do you think you are making yourself look to a potential customer by attacking me in such a defensive way. It's not about "showing off" as you so eliquently put it. I haven't made this personal, I have merely pointed out your poor service in a way in which I have seen fit to forewarn anyone who would maybe be thinking of parting with their hard earned money.

Put my daughter's coat in to be fixed due to the zip breaking and it was done within a week as they had to order the zip in. Repair is of poor quality and not even straight and very noticeable when looking at the coat. Also the stitch hasn't been put together on the inside of the coat where they altered it due to taking the old zip off and adding the new zip. Coat had to be taken in the next day as unhappy with the repair job. The shop is located at the far end of Bargoed town so unless you from the area or know it's there it's easily missed.

I always believe in shopping local where I can but I am afraid I wont be going to your shop again. You had three chances to alter a suit for me, the first time I took it away the trousers looked awful and you so you did them again. The second time I realised that the trousers and jacket sleeves were still two long, you had not measured them properly, so you had them back and when I picked them up today I was appalled. I could have done better myself, the stitching on the trousers clearly shows through the outer material all the way round and the end of the sleeves are not hanging neatly but pulled too tight by the thread. I gave you a chance and did tell you to take your time and do this properly as it was an expensive suit. I live 5 minutes from you but now I will be going to a Tailor in Taffs Well, who by the way couldn't believe what you had done to the suit. I really don't like giving a bad review to a Bargoed business but this is so disappointing.

Had a dress made and it was so well done. Definitely deserves the 5 stars. Great service and all around great experience.

An excellent job by this lovely group of ladies, a friendly and helpful shop. Will be getting all my jobs done here from now on. A first class job done on my husbands motorcycle seat, thank you so much
