My mum lived at Abbeyfield Great Missenden for a year until June 2022. I cannot thank all the amazing staff team enough for their kindness throughout mum's time there. The team really care about the residents and go above and beyond to provide a safe, friendly, happy place for the residents to live in. I appreciated all the help and support that I received as mum's sponsor too. The management team are exceptional and everything is very well organised.
Mum had a lovely bright ensuite bedroom and her own little kitchenette for making breakfast, cups of tea or snacks, whilst lots of choice was offered for dinner and tea in the dining room. Staff took note of mum's preferences, such as for veggie sausages, and nothing was too much trouble. The location, being close to Missenden high street means that the library, coffee shops, park, restaurants and shops and all easily accessible and mum could walk there herself. The gardens and outdoor seating areas are always well maintained too with lots of pretty flowers and pleasant places to sit.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abbeyfield Great Missenden to anyone seeking assisted living accommodation.
Thank you so much!

Supported living at its very best. Abbeyfield House is rather like a small & friendly family hotel where home cooked meals and activities are enjoyed with fellow residents. Sunday lunchtime is a special occasion with a glass of sherry in the lounge before lunch! Carol, the House Manager, is highly dedicated, efficient and compassionate. She makes it a priority to know and understand the needs of her residents, some of whom help to maintain the garden and grounds. She is perceptive and an excellent role model for her team. Family members are well informed and you would be very fortunate to find availability here for your loved one. My mum spent happy times at Abbeyfield House; an exceptional and rare stepping stone between leaving a family home to a time when more dependent care may be needed.
