I have ben a customer of Timpsons in many towns and cities for many years. I've never been to the Letchworth store before, and I won't be coming again! Usually Timpsons staff are so obliging and extremely helpful, but this one was completely the opposite. I asked for a while-you-wait heel service (as I always do) and he told me that he doesn't offer that service as he can only do it when he's got nothing to do, and he's always got something to do!! Sounds to me like this guy missed out on his staff training!!

Not sure where the older negative reviews are coming from, I can only assume the staff member has been either retrained or replaced - I went in recently and had a very pleasant employee help and provide a good classic professional service. I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have liked to see more variety of specialist product offered for sale in the shop, but this comes down to the franchise owner, I suspect. I would highly recommend this Timpson branch, and when other high street stores are being closed down, this store has someone who knows what they’re taking about, providing a good service. A rare thing to come by these days. Definitely recommended.

There’s a “Will be back soon” sign in door. I’ve been waiting 30 minutes. I then see the staff member and lock the door behind him before I could get to him. He the. Walked to the back room of the shop and I haven’t seen him since. I’m calling the phone but no answer. I’m watching disappointed faces of potential customers come and go. It’s 14:00 on Friday. Not good Timpson, not good.

RICHARD who seems to be the main man in there is Brilliant. He's conscientious, and very good at his job. He needs a pay rise, because whatever he's on, he deserves more. I've been a few times with watch related issues and I always get a super helpful service. 11 out of 10 easily.

Very good and friendly and if you need any battery's for a watch they can replace it very quickly

Great service. Unfortunately the hours advertised on Google are incorrect as the shop now opens 9:00am till 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and Closed on Sundays.

The man who was in the store today was very kind helpful and nothing to much trouble he chatedwhile I waited for my orders to be done that's what makes you want to go back

Always a good service from this Timpson's. Watch battery replacement quick and efficient service, from friendly staff member. Would definitely recommend
