Had a fantastic experience at the Camden store this evening. I’d phoned in advance to reserve my boots and when I arrived had the best customer experience with advice on how to care and make the most of my boots. Am so excited to wear my new ox blood fur lined boots haven’t been this giddy since got my first pair of DMs 30 years ago!!

Actually more than just a shoe shop. An experience.

Attentive staff members who interact naturally.

Took time when we were choosing which boot we wanted. There was an artist who was personalized what we bought and he was amazing.

Can't wait to go again.

Forget the shoes. I have worked i customer service for 4 years at corp level and i need to know who trained this stores staff. Absolute skills. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I know they have to to be polite because im buying stuff but even i couldnt tell. The conversation felt very genuine. Shout out to Mo and this other sweet lady i forgot the name of. Good stuff

The word "lying" may be the second most used word amidst Google reviews for the DM store in Camden, but I promise I won't lie to you...

This store sells the very best Vietnamese boots in Camden; bar none!

If you want a set of footwear made by a 9-year-old who is paid each day with a bag of rice and some boiled cucumber then THIS IS THE STORE FOR YOU!

If your personal taste requires boots made from a country closer to home, then you need not worry, they also have an abundance of items made in Bangladesh where the working conditions are far better; each person earns 9p an hour for their efforts and your shoes are guaranteed to last AT LEAST a few hours before falling apart at the seems...

Finally, the Doc shop does have a brand label named "Made In England", with the entirity of their materials being cut from the finest Laotian leather and then being shipped to the Cobble Lane factory in Northamptonshire for assembly...

Not a single fabrication was told in the creation of this review...

Sincerely,
Jim

We went to Camden after a terrible experience at Oxford St where the staff were lazy and disinterested. Not so at Camden - the staff were all super friendly and even though it was really busy they still made us feel important. Will only use the Camden store in future, the staff here are awesome!

I just stopped by the Camden store and Sam could not have been more helpful! He helped me find my size and take multiple pairs on and off as my hands were full with my baby. Thanks so much Sam!

As a dr Martens shop for me the greatest one in London. In this place at climatic Camden Market, with all these colourful People around you feel that you're in the place where these boots are at home. Great choice of boots and not only. Shop is busy but they've got a very helpful staff. To all those complaining that these shoes are made somewhere outside UK - just jump out of about 70/80£ more and you buy those - made in UK :) This shop is a must see for 'martens' lovers.

Went in to get another pair of my favourite boots, Freja who helped me was amazing. Couldn’t be more helpful.
The shop is well laid out, the amount of different styles is a little overwhelming but amazing.
Love this place, which I had more money to spend.
