Good quality shoes here.

I visited here last Thursday needing shoes for the following weekend.

I didn't know my size as Dr Martens can be a difficult fit often requiring a bigger size than a persons usual.

The shoes I wanted were not in stock.

I was told to try on another apparently very similar pair as apparently if they fitted the ones I wanted would too. They were a different style of shoe with softer leather & struck me as odd advice completely contrary to my experience of Dr Martins.

I ordered and paid for the shoes I wanted to be delivered the next day.

I went down to pick up the shoes last thing on Friday after work and oddly enough they didn't fit..

One wasted journey to town centre and no shoes for weekend - obviously if I was given sensible advice I would have just gone somewhere else to buy on Thursday.

Staff in here just seem to have no idea and are pretty clueless. Going by my experience yesterday they just stand around with droopy expressions on their faces.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned and too logical but surely if you are working in a specialist retail outlet then surely you should have at least some product knowledge and/or common sense..

I've sent them a feedback/complaint email - lets see if they bother to respond..

I have had a response from Sole Trader 'Customer Service', they have chosen to respond to my justified complaint with lies.

Very nice mall.Almost all you want you can buy it there.

We bought 3 pairs of boots, 2 of those pairs only lasted 2 months. I will see what their customer service is like when I take them back.

I bought a pair of shoes from this branch on Monday. It was one of the nicest experiences I’ve had whilst buying shoes. From the start I was greeted with a bright and happy welcome. Being quite particular when it comes to shoes especially when they are quite expensive I asked many questions and tried on many shoes. My needs were met and the staff were very knowledgeable about their products. The entire time I was treated as though I was the most important person, they listened to me and held a conversation which you don’t really experience in this day and age, with all that technology. I left being a satisfied customer. What a great team, and amazing customer service. Lovely girls, very pretty. Thank you for making my day.
