I'm not normally one to write reviews but I feel I need to get this off my chest. I've never had a problem with the products from shoe zone and the staff have always been relatively nice. However, I bought a pair of boots from there which had been labelled as the wrong size by the manufacturer. I didn't try the shoes on in store as I have bought the same size for a number of years. I went to exchange the shoes today (June 20th) and explained to the cashier that the shoe's had been incorrectly marked and I just wanted to swap them. She ran the exchange through for me but her attitude took me by surprise. She told me that the sizing issue was because they were men's shoes, to which I explained that I had my flat mate, who is a size 9, try them on to verify if they had been mislabelled. She reiterated her statement about them being men's shoes, adding that 'men's shoes are usually wider than women's'. I had to reiterate my statement regarding the size being incorrect and told her that I don't wear women's shoes and that I have never had an issue with the shoes from Shoe Zone before. She did eventually run the exchange through the till, which I am happy with but this conversation was completely unnecessary. I've had to exchange items (including shoes) in the past and have never had someone try to correct me regarding my reason for the exchange.

Picked up a pair of shoes here which I wore to a wedding. They were so comfy and were only about £15. They looked a lot more expensive, so was really pleased with the quality. Good place for slippers and trainers for the gym if you don't want to spend out.

Cheap shoes that look cheap and tacky. I went in to look for slippers and the quality wasn't as good as primark and they were more expensive. Staff seemed in a world of there own, I had to ask one girl 3 times for help until she woke up from her trance. Very unprofessional.

Some things reduced as store is closing but not much and not much room for wheelchairs to navigate the aisles.
