This shopping centre is located in walking distance to the train station and city centre. Actually, it technically forms the part of the town centre.
The space between the shops is opened, without roof at some places, so it's more like a retail park, or designated area with essential shops: Iceland, Poundland, etc.
The place was relatively quiet on a Sunday noon/early afternoon, despite the good weather, sunshine and warmth.
It's good to come here, especially for those, who wish to do all their shopping at one place.

Often in Letchworth Garden City, it can be nice to just go for a walk but most the time I have a shop in mind to go to. You have a range of shops so can often find those items you just can't get in the supermarket during your main food shop. Too many shops to list but worth a look about. The place is looked after and I find it clean and tidy.

Came by chance, it was a very good surprise. The reception of the waitress was pleasant with some expected towards these 2 French people who speak bad English. Excellent food and all for a very reasonable price. I recommend...

Nice high st, a few named shops and also your standard home sense shops. Had a nice area called the wynd which had you boutique niche shops. We parked in multi storey and they only allow 4 hrs max

This whole space died about 24 years ago only nobody told it, so it just sort of pumps lifelessly in the background of Letchworth's marginally-more thriving "high" street.

To be honest, you'd have to be high for any of Letchworth these days, it's a vacuous town made up of mostly cheap and/or second hand shops (with 1 or 2 restaurants/cafes thrown in for good measure which are nice and useful if youre going to the towns lovely little cinema!).

Letchworth... Could be a great town centre if Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation worked with the council and actually encouraged some bigger chain stores to compliment the independents. It looks drab and dirty; empty shops, broken canopies, down at heel. I'll be shopping in Hitchin although I live in Letchworth ❤️

Only New look, peacocks and Bon marche clothes shops left.... no Body Shop and no Dorothy perkins which is an absolute shame. We could do with a Next store and Marks & Spencer store..... that would really lift spirits in our community

They have more variety of shops than st albans. Only dissappointment was the Garden City craft shop being shut in The Wynd especially on a sat. I wanted to visit that as i used to go to the workshops.
