A go to shopping centre for East Londoners and Essex dwellers. It has most of the famous high street brands plus a John Lewis and Marks & Spencers.

Luxury watches, jewellers, Tommy and Dior all there. For kids, there is a climbing wall (payment required) area and Nickelodeon to keep them busy.

You can take a train here, station just right outside the entrance or drive here with free parking!

Food court with decent choice but mostly fast food.

I've been shopping in lakeside for as long as I can remember. Great place that has shops for everything. Cheap or expensive they have something for all. The kids love coming here to look at the lake and see movies. I like to come here when I'm not working to visit the bookshop.

Lakeside has a huge positive for drivers and it is free parking. Not having to worry about parking prices is a relief. The shopping complex is well laid out and has many shops that cater for most high street demands. Toilets and disabled access are decent and there are three floors for shoppers to shop. The third floor is food. It's clean and pleasant.

Very large shopping centre. There's everything from food courts to products and entertainment. Most popular brands are available so you'd find all sorts of products at different prices.

You can literally spend a day shopping. It's accessible by train and bus or you could drive.

It's facilities are decently managed, I however had an issue with the fact that there could be clearer signage to help you get to whichever store you're looking for. Spending time looking for a mall board map was exhausting.

Love this shopping centre. Plenty of things to do and lots of places to eat along the boardwalk. They have awesome hot tub boats. Great multistorey car park.

Lakeside Shopping Centre, is a large out-of-town shopping centre located in West Thurrock, Essex just beyond the eastern boundary of Greater London. It was constructed on the site of a former chalk quarry. The first tenants moved into the complex in 1988 and it was completed in 1990, being opened on 25 October of that year by Princess Alexandra of Kent, Marcus Bradford and Angus Ogilvy. New spaces in the red car park were added as in October 2019.

The shopping centre, in addition to the retail parks, forms one of the largest shopping areas in a single location within Europe, with almost 2,600,000 square feet (240,000 m2) of retail space on a site of 200 acres (0.81 km2). The community of Chafford Hundred has grown to the east of the centre since its opening. Its main rival is the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe, Kent, just across the River Thames.

The Lakeside Shoppjng Centre is very big and there is a big variety of shops. However for this size of shopping center there are not enough toilets. It’s a bit of waste of time to walk all the way to different floors to find toilets, toilets are not clean and ventilation is very poor.
