Don't go to the Grind n Bake unless you love dogs saliva. Man behind counter met lady with dog at counter and stopped to let dog lick his fingers and patted it loads. Man went straight back to work and didn't wash his hands.

Best place to go in Folkestone for all your needs. There are plenty of places to rest and have meal or just a coffee. Asda supermarket is HUGE, with everything you may need from clothes to household goods, plus of course food shopping.
Staff really are very friendly. Only downfall, they often run out of supermarket trollies.
You can also shop at Poundland next door.
There are many more stores and shops including Primark and Costa Coffee.
There is parking on the Asda rooftop car park, but Bouverie Place, itself is totally pedestrianised

Enough to do here and shops to visit plenty of parking we never fail to find a parking space you have TK max Primark, sports direct, JD sports, and a big shoe shop, a fruit n veg stall. Then you have the town centre and beach all within walking distance!!

Asda, Primark, surrounded by numerous High Street shops, quaint small village streets and specialty shops, even a barber or two, which I made good use of for a hair and beard trim £14. My friends from the states enjoyed both the shipping and the walk through the streets, just a pleasant walls distance from our Britannia hotel, the Grand Burstin.

Poor Folkestone so different now from years gone by just looks so run down I remember enjoying coming into Folkestone the town most Saturdays/ weekends it use to be bustling with all the old shops and cafes it really is lack lustre now missing it's old department stores Debenhams/Woolworths/m&s/boutiques Dorothy Perkins mark one all gone was such a loss to this once thriving seaside town. Folkestone deserves so much better!

Folkestone needs MORE! More shops. Better shops. Fill the empty stores. Give us more choice! Bring in Zara, Mango and H&M. Folkestone used to be a bustling town. Now without Debenhams and so many closed businesses it's not worth visiting!

A good shopping area in Folkestone, Especially Primark and Asda, parking is expensive. I would park on the street nearby and walk to the shopping area. Near Sainsbury's tends to be a good place to park and a short walk to the high street to access the shopping area.
