It's always our main reason to come to town. It has everything we need. The Pearl of the Orient is our one stop shop for all I need to stock up on all my cooking needs. The staff are always welcoming and always happy to help.

A hidden gem in here is the pie and mash shop which was relocated here, nice family business which does the best pie and mash in the area and a solid price, recommend - the chinese/asian shop is also great, i used to live in asia for a little bit and its hard getting some authentic items which this store provides, would recommend also

Always loved this small shopping area, but sad seeing so many small businesses coming and going in a short space of time. We loved coming to the butchers in here but now sadly closed up and nothing in its place. An eating place upstairs has changed hands numerous times over the last few years. Still a pleasant place to eat and always busy. Car parking is also so easy although wheelchair users beware, sometimes the lift is out of order and the disabled bays are NOT clearly marked and not in the ground floor meaning you're reliant on a working lift! The lift in the shopping mall is always working but its very narrow and small.

Had lunch at the cafe on 2nd floor. Good toilet facilities. Lost its former busyness as there are a lot of empty spaces . Liked the well stocked Chinese store that's been there for years. Apart from that, I won't rush to visit it.

The cafe downstairs was great. But could not believe how much it had changed upstairs. As I wanted the gifts shop, but found a children's play area. Quite shocked.

Some cracking little shops in Romford Shopping Halls. A really wife variety. All the shopkeepers I've had dealings with in there have always been very friendly and very helpful.

Obviously with the high street in a bad way after years of online growth and a pandemic it might seem hard to rate places in town centers. However the shopping hall still has a lot to offer. Not just niche shops but eateries and most importantly something you can't find shopping online... A sense of community. A place that still feels like the heart of this market town

Nice shopping area with plenty of places to eat too. Also has a good children's soft play area on the 1st floor.

This place also has toilet facilities.
