This place definitely needs a 5 star for maintaining cleaning standards for such a big area those guys have worked hard! Definitely has what you need for essentials but would suggest a coffee food bar perhaps? As I spoke to most of the staff Iceland manager wasn't pleasant, the oaks is perfect for acton such a shame these youths doing drugs and people drinking on the bench at the front the security are pleasant but they definitely need the resource as they can't be doing security and cleaning amongst other things! Toilets are brilliant well done for that! Big thumbs up to security!

The car park is owned by a company that scams you. They’ve got this ANPR technology that records entry and exit time but when you go to pay at the machine you need to input the amount you need to pay instead, of it automatically showing you the correct parking fee for your length of stay. Be careful.

Inside the centre has fairly well-run branches of Lidl Poundland Wilco Superdrug and Iceland. So a quite useful array of shops. It's a fairly friendly and good-natured place, maybe the interior is boring reminds me of eastern central Europe cos there is nothing colorful or fancy there and public toilets of a good standard (always seem to be closed) :-( .

Out front on the big road is a hugely popular McD filled with school kids and deliver scooter drivers,a very nice Savers and Holland n Barrett.

Out back where I often sit is a very peaceful graveyard with benches and many many small multi culti restaurants with a fairly ok chip shop (ok for chips) and a nice friendly Portugese restaurant. So it's well okay for spending 2-3 hours if you look hard enough and appreciate.

Handsome church nearby complete with spire gorgoyles etc many days a small market is out front (of a large Morrison's) where also buses stop and a Chinese takeaway and quite high level kebab restaurant. Not to forget the useful Polish supermarket, Souvenir shop (by the bus stop) and Acton grill (good for a nice cheeseburger) tucks around the corner. Quiite good in a hotch-potch way.

I find this shopping centre useful and use most of the shops in it occasionally, and also find the Amazon pick-up locker there useful too. Please note though that the centre itself does not stay open as late as 6pm on Sundays and 10pm on weekdays as listed here. (At the time of posting this review at any rate.) I'm not sure of the exact times or I would have edited them, but it seems they lock the centre shortly after the last shop closes. Today (a Sunday) I made a special trip to pick something up from the Amazon locker and arrived before 5:30pm, but the doors all round the centre were already locked, even from the car park.

Great for low budget offerings on groceries. However the parade it is on is shabby and depressing. Shoplifters LOVE this place, the security is over zealous which creates an air of tension. The quality of some goods on sale is insulting cheap, nasty, junk from Wilkos and the death sentence saturated fat of Iceland. I feel miserable and relegated to an underclass visiting here.

I recently visited The Oaks Shopping Centre and had a decent experience. The mall has a good selection of stores and a wide variety of products to choose from. The layout is easy to navigate and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the prices can be a bit high, but overall it is a convenient and enjoyable place to shop.

A must-see. Not that big, perfect for quiet and no-rush shopping. Easy reach by buses and walking. Very pleasant !

PARKING SCAM BE CAREFUL - Carflow the company running the carpark, use ANPR to scan entry & exit, but instead of generating how long you have spent there automatically, the ticket machine asks for you to guess it yourself and makes the machine hard to work. It applies the basic £3 but not easy to add additional time and therefore the incorrect amount is paid . Then 1 week letter you are fined £60. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
