Swanley Market

It appears to have the same merchandise week in week out with no choice from one stall to the next.
Could do with a good overhaul to achieve a higher reward to both the traders and the public. 🥴

A bit unloved over time and always a bit scruffy then normal on a Wednesday afternoon after the stalls/ marketplace is done.
But practically is convenient with a number of key shops, GP surgery, library/ post office, Aldi and of course a big 24/7 ASDA as well as plenty of parking around.

Swanley market is currently on twice a week, Wednesday and Sunday in the town centre outside of Asda. There are a good selection of stalls including takeaway food, carpets and rugs, toys, materials, clothing, shoes, Spanish cleaning products, magazines, plants, jewellery, household items and there are probably a couple I've forgotten. The clothes stalls seem to be aimed at the younger market with tracksuits and more exotic night out clothing although you can also buy hi viz tops and various other items of work clothing. It won't take too long to walk around unless you fancy some noodles. The noodle stall ALWAYS has a huge queue.

Not So many shops but still what you need for every day life you will find easily. Once a week has market so it's a advantage to buy other stuff. Atleast visit once👍👍

I always enjoy coming to Swanley, I love in Bexleyheath you see. It's always clean, I think there are some amazing shops and when I'm lucky enough to catch the markets, it's just a blast!

You can find almos everything here, there’s are butchers, fast food, clothing, fruit and veg and more..is normally very busy

Sorry I'm not a market person but it's very popular if you like bargains and good replicas. When I was young I always had the latest fashion and Swanley market was the best and cheapest way to get them.

Little shopping precinct with ASSA one side and ALDI the other. Some good charity shops. I have not been to the market on a Wednesday, but I have been told its good. Great place to support local businesses.
