St George's Shopping Centre

Lots of shops, lots of cafes , lots of history here , old cobbled streets with shops and historical indoor market. Pocahontas is also buried here in St. Georges Church. Here you can see her statue for free , Church is open for Teas and Snacks.

Nice shopping centre, would be 5 stars of the parking was free.

Not much left in town now. They have recently redone the place but it needs more shops that people want to visit. There are only so many cheap shops we can put up with

It's being worked on at the moment, but it's not there yet. They've painted it up, planted flowers and sorted new fixings throughout, so it looks great. The issue is that so many buildings lay empty, we just need more shops and the centre will be great.

Ate at St George's diner. One of the worst meals I hVe ever eaten in my life. Lage portions with no seasoning and taste. The hollandaise sauce on my son's egg Benedict tasted like melted plastic. My lasagne had no taste, no seasoning. Even the brand of Mayonnaise they used was disgusting. Will definitely not return.

Not like it used to be, many stores empty. I still shop there regularly for individual items and handy for the post office. New gym recently opened which is a positive sign.

Holland and Barrett very good selection of vitamins and health products. Helpful staff

There is a new art centre and cafe.
Also a new YMCA large charity shop.

Hooray! We have a new Post Office now.
Amazing Christmas displays in empty shop fronts.

Don't park here ,you pay to park ,you enter your reg ,they don't issue a ticket ,then they fine you £100,rising to £170,if you try to appeal they will deny that you have ,I wish I never parked there & never will again,you have been warned

Nice and clean. Only 4 star as a lot of "do you belive in god" people hunting their prey around the area. Otherwise nice
