This is a very old and traditional market hall based in East Ham. Its a mix of traditional East end businesses and stalls run by various immigrants. The stalls are all under cover and range from Delis to shops selling silk saris alongside African grocers. An interesting mix of shops due a rich tradition of immigrants from Poles to West Africans to the local area.

A good spot for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of shopping.

It's not my main area for shopping, but I do buy the odd items from here now and then. It's right next to Sainsbury's, which is my main shopping centre. East Ham Market is made up of several independent stalls or shops under one roof. You can buy flowers, food, fresh fish, vegetables, clothes, footwear, electrical goods and more, you can even have a meal and get a haircut or a new hairstyle. The shop owners there are very friendly too.

A bit dark and dingy . But many good stalls in there. I go in there for a black hair shop. Very good. Parking on the outside and it's free for blue badge disability holders.

Sheen beauty - POOR SERVICE! The lady made my brows thin and unshape ! Manager told us that we shouldn’t have not come as they only see regular customers and not new ! Manager was very rude and has no customer service skills ! AVOID AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE !

East Ham market is a sound local enjoyable experience and has many different shops.
The owners of these shops are friendly and approachable and are more than willing to answer any questions that a person may have.
I would recommend people who have not been to this market place to schedule a visit I think you would find it an enjoyable experience.

Used to live at 11 Holme Rd (demolished to make way for High St bypass) till 1991, so it was just yards away from my house. Had a great butcher and fish shop. Went frequently to the Market Cafe for breakfast and always ordered 'double bubble'. Now l live in Australia and miss my old East Ham days.

Its been shut down for a couple of years, and the site is being developed with 2 high rise tower blocks well under construction. Not sure why this still comes up for review, its long gone.
