The Octagon shopping centre (Burton Upon Trent)

Stuck in the year 1987. This place was home to Staffordshire cafe. One of the best cafes in Burton at the time. The clock which stands above the escalators used to have a chime and the birds used to move around during as a kid you'd play in the sort play located right next to the Staffordshire cafe. nostalgia at its best.

Great place to remind you why you usually shop online.
There is nothing offensively bad here but it's honestly like travelling back to the early 90s ... just in a rather depressing northern town.
Lots of parking, lots of homeless and I think it has toilets.

I wouldn't call it a shopping centre as there aren't many shops in the Octagon but nevertheless, it's a tidy and clean place, security is always helpful and I always get what I need from there.

Good location.
Lovely settings.
Good shops and easy to locate popular brands.

No decent shops left. TK Maxx not even worth the effort. Such a shame. But dont bother, and just go to Derby

It has a variety of shops but it's disappointing that they all close at 5.30. it proves difficult trying to shop on a weekday after work! However Saturdays are just stupidly busy with everyone there!!
