I am not local (I live in Newark, Notts) but came in on Friday after coming across your shop randomly whilst I was helping a blind lady to Yates. Popped in for some maggots for my wild rescue baby birds that came with me to visit a friend, as I was getting low on wax worms.
After shop keeper learnt the reason for them he let me have them for free which was so, so kind and really appreciated!
I've not been fishing properly (other than a cheapo rod with my daughter in the river devon at home) in around 23 years so can't comment on details of stock however everything looked of great quality and always great to have such a friendly member of staff whose quite a looker too! ;)
Shop is clean and laid out really well.
