Market Cross Shopping Centre

Lovely large Wilco store.So good to be able to still be able to buy hardware goods in a town center rather than have to go to an out of town outlet such as Clifton Moore in York.
It is a shame that so many shops are closing down in Selby though such as Peacocks, Edingborough Woollen Milk and Bonmarche.

There's everything here. Coffee... try the Hub, or Costa. Home bargains have everything you need. Morrisons supermarket on the corner, hairdresser, butcher, Baker, phone shops (EE and Vodaphone) Hays travel agency has to be the best agency, bar none, they really do make you feel a part of their family. Birthday gifts a d cards can be found at the card shop and 'The Works'. There's many more shops, many locally owned and run. Support them as much as you can.

Nice selection of shops. Including cobblers, travel agent, Works , a great butcher, a great fruit and veg shop, boutique and two cafes.

I feel the small home bargains there has less and less choice and I end up leaving without some things I went in for sadly and then need to go elsewhere or to the larger branch which is quite inconvenient as I don't drive.

Nice steady area, good butchers,good card shop, expensive coffee shop and home bargains what more do you want.
