The Castle Emporium

With there seeming to be a constant rotation of resident retailers, it should be exciting, but aside from one or two of the regulars like Rock-Ola and the newer SHO Gallery, it's more of a miss than a hit.

It could be a really exciting space right in the heart of Cardiff, but there's rarely any sort of buzz or atmosphere to be found once inside, leaving you feeling a little deflated.

Lovely stalls and great atmosphere, reminded me off Camden market on a smaller scale, it was great, loads of creative individual have come together to create such a lovely place! Coffee was good, very rich in flavour and a little costly for a coffee.

An interesting shared space for very small businesses. I used the Barber Room which I'd recommend for an affordable haircut but there's also coffee, vinyl records, books, prints, vintage clothing and other stalls.

It's the cutest little hidden mall with amazing book shop, plant shop, nail salon, tattoo studio, cafe, clothing store and a lot more and it's pet friendly.

Worth visiting this place, it got some great indie stores.

It was a cute little place but we came during the weekday and didn't feel as lively as i think it probably would be over a weekend. Really liked the plant shop, wish i lived closer!!

So many amazing independent businesses here. Love Heads Above The Waves. Go have a coffee and a chat while this last bastion of indy businesses is still here!

Ace space. Great range of shops. Add it to your list of arcades to explore in Cardiff.
