Some nice shope but over priced. Not enough bins loads of litter and dog mess

Local shopping centre. Quite busy. Decent selection of shops.

It's OK if you can park and do your shopping if not you are stuck up a side road

Popped in here to drop off parcel for return at the convenience store. They were helpful and everything was done really quickly. Would go there again

First time at that shopping place and found Jan newsagents to pick up parcel. Very nice place.

Love the new Maelfa but seriously needs a one way system in the car park and more spaces!!

Well kept shops in the shadow of one of the nicest set of flats in the city.

I am old enough to remember the original Maelfa shopping precinct back in the 70's and unfortunately this place doesn't live up to it. Don't get me wrong, there are quite a few good shops there. The butcher seems to always be well stocked and busy and the optician I have been visiting for longer than I would care to mention. My wife does like the hair dressers and they seem to be good value. Since the re-development of the area it is a lot cleaner and open plan. It's also great if you fancy doing a bit of shopping and coming away with a contact high as the air is richly fragranced with the aroma of exotic substances. Add to that the air of underlying menace and on the whole it's a truly exhilarating experience.
