The best teaching at this school with excellent student supports. The school had just opened a year ago but everyone at this school is very friendly and supportive. This allows all the students at the sixth form to study well and thrive towards success. I would definitely recommend this college over any other college. Also, the technology and the facilities at the school are excellent as your understanding of the particular subject would improve massively. I got AAAB in my first year, for Maths, Biology, Economics and Physics and I am looking forward for the second year.

This school can't get its act together since the can't give our teachers access to information on our assessed practicals until every other school in the country has already done theirs. Also the school makes the year 12's working with businesses that rent out office space in our school compulsory so they can say that renting out the space in term time one school days for business people to mess about playing golf and playing league of legends is good for the school. If your are thinking about coming here, trust me when I say that any other college is better than here.

My experience in Tech City College is amazing, how students work hard and teacher are doing their best to teach them. how homework is given and the time it need to be given, how successful the students of last year were and how the students of this year will success. the reward of the month that is given to the hardworking studied and happy they look when they achieve it.
The passion the students have with their education is incredible and makes you want to achieve it as well.
Adding to that, I had a chance to compete in young writers' competition called 'Welcome Wonderland' and it was very enjoyable and incredible. Tech City College gave me an opportunity to make an incredible masterpiece.

where do i start? This school is very underrated and has a bad image because of previous students and teachers through the past years. This year has genuinely been a good year. I've made progress and know what path to take for my future. A school is only successful when they have good teachers and now they have good teachers so this schools future is brighter than The Rocks head.

Background to why I choose STEM/Tech City College for my Children.

My 2nd child started A'levels at another 6th form in another borough although my child has very good GCSE grades 8 A- C results, my child was told that they could not continue with their A'level Mathematics and Science choices as they did not do as well as expected in their 1st year of A'levels as a result a BTEC National was offered in Business Studies. My child wants to aspire into the sciences and work in engineering.

Opportunities that change the life of children whilst attending Tech City College.

I had faith that with the right support that my 2nd child could achieve good A'level grades and I decided to try Tech City College, because I have an older child who attended the STEM Academy/Tech City College, who achieved A*, A* and A in Sciences and Mathematics because of the dedicated support my eldest child received whilst in education at STEM/Tech City College.

Class Sizes at Tech City College

I would recommend STEM Academy /Tech City College to parents because this institution gave my children opportunities that other institutions were unable to provide. The fact that STEM/Tech City College has small class sizes with dedicated team of teaching staff has been the secret of my children's success.

I was pleased that my 2nd child has acquired an exceptionally good grade in both Mathematics and Physics which guarantees my child is able to continue into the 2nd year of their A'level Science and Mathematics based subjects.

The Head of Tech City College

The current head of services is approachable and she is dedicated to the success of every student in her facility and she engages with every student and knows every students name as if they were her own family, you don't get that type of dedication and quality of care from other Educational Facilities. This is one of the exceptional qualities of Tech City College.

All I can say to other parents is:
It is a known fact that smaller classes sizes mean that teachers are able to engage with students better as they have more time per ratio of each student to support them.

Tech City College class sizes are small they range between 7 students up to 12 (this is the information I received from my child) similar to classes sizes in private schools who are not required to produce government performance tables.

Tech City College offers workshops which are voluntary to support the students outside lecture times with course work projects or homework to constructively support those students who need help.

If I had to pay for this kind of extra tutoring it would have cost me hundreds of pounds as a good science/mathematics tutor cost up forty pounds an hour.

And lastly lets give Tech City Academy a chance! they have been in business for 4-5 years, as we know small businesses do have start up problems in their development.

Lets give Tech City College a chance to grow and be successful, and lets celebrate their achievements.

Lastly my personal statement and thanks.

My oldest child who is a ex student of the STEM/Tech City College is now attending a Russel Group London University and is streamlined to complete a Masters in Science.

Thank you STEM/Tech City College for enabled my children to aspired and to change the perception that children from areas of depravity and high unemployment CAN achieve and become successful individuals without the intervention of money.

Signed
Very Grateful Parent

This college has great potential at being an outstanding college. I have studied in "outstanding" colleges and I they have never offered as many oportunities as this college has. Despite this college's infamous past and all of it's comments I honestly beleieve that people are underestimating it too much. I'm not saying this college is perfect, there are many things that these people can change including the administration however, if the school continues to better it self then it can become one of the best school in islington.

I beleieve that this school does a great job at rewarding their students and classes acordingly to their efforts, for example rewards are given to students with 100 percent attendence and 100 percent punctuality. classes are frequently rewarded with Nandos if they have the highest attendence. There is so much that this college can offer, keep an open mind.

What a place. If I could give zero, I would!
Where do I start. Firstly, they have no idea of what lessons they even teach, teachers have no clue what they are doing as they have the worst leader. The principal is just the strangest, along with her side kick, Sally War. They will stick together in making things up that never happened, just so they can protect the colleges image! They even try and get the receptionist to back their story but thankfully, she is not so easily led! Waste of time!! AVOID.

Easily the worst school in Islington, probably in the whole country! It was Probably the worst decision of my life was coming to this college. The teaching is horrendous, I haven't learnt one thing in this college. I receive no help from the teachers even though I ask for help numerous amount of times. We ask the principle to resolve the ongoing problems but she resulted by covering the lessons herself. I have jeopardised my future just by coming here. The own Principle writes a 5star review about this school, pretending to be a student. This is why the College is closing down. The engineering teacher barely knows what he's speaking about himself. He lies about how much teaching experience he has but hasn't taught us a thing. NASRIN FARHANI doesn't respect my Religion, she was restricting me from praying and she said she doesn't care, she disrespectfully said that I am not allowed to pray on a Friday that I voluntarily came in and said to me that Religion should be my 2nd priority after education and threatened to exclude from the school even though we nearly finished the course. She also accused me of being a terrorist because I was trying to learn how to use software for my engineering course because I was designing a water gun.
