Superb seat of learning or it was in the 1940s once returned from war time evacuation. Unfortunately some masters returning from fighting in the desert etc. as artillery officers were a trifle shall we say 'Unusual,.
I don't know why I am writing this at the age of 83 but I still have fond memories. The ethos of the place served me well throughout my long life.

Takes time to get adjusted to the environment, initially I found the first year at this school difficult. Things have changed now but overall the lessons are quite monotonous to have every week the teachers are relatively kind and the behavior isn’t that bad school does have high expectations and fantastic facilities (swimming pool and a gym) which I believe most students are too ignorant to appreciate

I am disappointed with the school. There seems to be a fight culture among the pupils. My son goes now to Charter School in Dulwich where the environment is more peaceful. Charter had offered him a place for year seven but at the time we chose St Dunstan's believing that it was a better school for him.
When Charter re-offered my son a place two weeks before the Easter break, I could not give one full term's notice, so I paid the fees for the trinity term, as it says in the contract but informed the school that my son would not attend at St Dunstan's for the last term of the year.
I find unacceptable and the staff kept quiet about the initial £1000 deposit that you pay when you first accept the place. When I finally remembered about it few months later, they did not bother to explain or apologize for not returning the deposit on their own initiative. I would expect the staff in a private school to have higher standards.

Our 5 year old is very happy here. It's a very nurturing environment that spurs creativity and independent thinking. Staff are caring and committed, and Headmaster is very progressive. The Junior School is in a brand new lovely building. SDC also has great facilities including a swimming pool.

Brilliantly committed headmaster and teaching team. We feel our 6 year old is inspired, nurtured and confident in the uniquely creative and forward looking environment of SDC. The brand new Junior School buildings take the already very good facilities to a different level. This is an historic institution on the up with deep roots in its local community. Great time to be part of SDC.

An inclusive and nurturing co-educational school with a well equipped modern new building for the junior school. The sports facilities include tennis grounds and a swimming pool. Teachers are responsive to questions and seem to care and take pride in their responsibility working at St Dunstans.
