A great school- the best and only boys' comprehensive school in town. In recent years, the school has expanded to sixth form. Many students from the school have gone onto top universities, including Oxford, UCL, Queen Mary, etc.

My nephew goes here.
Worst school ever they do not help students that much as they do not care about students learning . If you want to set your child for failure and send them to a boot camp then send your children here. They use old PowerPoints to teach but some teachers are good but most are not. Your child may risk loosing brain cells here so approach with caution. Fights are common and students do not have any discipline. This school is so dumb it give 6:00 detentions. It's interventions are very messed up as they are pit on place to help a student improve their grades but it may make them more dumb unfortunately as it is not effective for everyone but everyone who dropped in grades gets it. And in these interventions they repeat the class work on a booklet form where you may get a history teacher for a design technology intervention. This makes perfect sense. Please do not send you child here as it will give them mainly negative experiences in class and may make your child loose interest in learning.

Dear parents and interested parties. I am extremely concerned of this school future being an academy- certain academies can ran successfully depending on the skills of those forming the executive board... accountability and performance needs to be monitored and carefully measured with safeguards in place to prevent manipulation....

This school has acquired this fancy name Maths Computing Technology as those it’s achieved the pinnacle of its functions.. I am extremely concerned of a school that teaches computer science with assuming experienced teachers as they claim - still have a website the appears to be from last century hopefully I’m not being to hush considering computer is an a rapidly evolving area of expertise. The user interface UI is so unfriendly I’m scared to visit such websites in this century - dear reader please benchmark my particular hush comments with others school in the borough including primary school and academy- which yards away is better ran -

My child tells me the standard of education isn’t great this is benchmarked by my child against me as a parent as a guide - it’s my education his future I’m talking about this merely an exercise for a review - surely parent that intend on sending their to such school can make an informed decision...

The toilet are apparently filthy their is urine all over the floor throughout toilet this apparently is once or twice- now I don’t expect to be eating from the toilet floor this unacceptable because I don’t expect my children develop mental pictures of such standards being acceptable and bring this to my home [Pictured will be provided to support this] if this problem does exist then perhaps the school should consider employing toilet POLICE.. or perhaps more logically employ and cleaner that has no other duties except to clean the TOILETS...

DISCIPLINE: should be at the centre of any schools ethics

I have been informed by my child about collective discipline.ie. Interpreted into [punishment] international LAW considers collective punishment as a WAR crime. what’s the basis or the moral behind such discipline -
I don’t want such ethics ingrained into my child/children tender minds surely others agree too - if not apply empathy and if your of someone of sound mind - you should reach the conclusion such discipline is considered a war crime for a reason - No Man / Women shall be punished for the actions of others..

On several occasions I’ve demanded on seeing the HEAD TEACHER - he appears to be far too busy having placed layers upon layers of GATE KEEPERS preventing us parents from seeing him in extremely emergency circumstances even in circumstances whereby a teacher maybe bully a child but the school is too fixings it’s PHONE on the 1st the school opens after the Easter Half term - why was this not commissioned and completed during the holiday period, should any service provider fail to deliver upon a service they’ve won assuming through I’m assuming through a tender process. There must be a hush penalty as this technical issue in this TECHNOLOGY collection may put my child at risk because since this morning I’ve contacted the school on several occasion demanding to speak with the HEAD teacher, having left a number messages despite no one has bothered to contact me regarding an incident of bullying witnessed and heard by myself on the phone this confrontational teacher, I send my children to school to not only learn the curriculum but life skills and manners too - Please excuse any errors and accept my apologies I’m writing this review in difficult circumstances TBC refined and edited.

A farce of a school. Toilet facilities are more or less the worst standards you can ever imagine (I've seen better in India). Learning environments and buildings constantly disrupted or damaged by the kids who think it is okay to do whatever they please. Teachers and receptionists look more drained out and traumatized due to the sight and presence of the headteacher! After school the headteacher follows random students midway home (unless they see him peeping from his hiding place) as if he is Sherlock Holmes! Many have shared this disturbing experience and it just gives a worse reputation of this pitch bottom diverse school to be frank.

My son goes to this school but i fully regret making the decison sending him here. Shambles from top to bottom, no clear leadership or management. Office and teaching staff are all rude, disrespectful and have no manners especially the man at the office who wears glasses who thinks his a bigman (Mr Shepard i think). Makes me question how they are even “qualified“. They look down on the pupils maybe because they are mostly Bengali ethnicity and they think they are better. Parents dont send your children here.

They are just a mouth peace. Not even that sometimes. I remember in a parents evening one of the teachers just brushed off a question. As if she was talking to a 2 years old child. I do not know why community tolerates such a school. My experience with them during the lock down was disgusting.
Especially ask the governers why they are are not taking the headteacher to task.

Great friends, great teachers and good teaching, teachers actually care and help when necessary. Discipline for older years could be better and this hurts younger students' experience.

@ ariyan_yusuf just to comment on this individuals ignorant comment. Very disrespectful regarding schools in Africa, as if you have attended every school, public and private In every country in the continent. I'll clarify that children who have immigrated to the UK tend to be more advanced and way ahead of their counterparts educated in the uk. I'll leave you to ponder, research the data, question why, then conclude.
