Went here for a children's birthday party and used their hire room.

Staff were quite friendly but the place wasn't very appealing to a children's party.

They do have their own bouncy castle which was great but every surface was sticky from spilled booze that was also the smell in the air. Fine for an adults party, could have done better for a children's party.

Some of the regulars do not like the non regulars. Very much a local place for local people only. Would not recomend holding an event in one of their rooms. Management are friendly but messages not passed on which causes incidents.

When you are invited to play pool there in a pool league they charge you a extra 50p a drink per person as a non member lol

Sunday nights are the best at the club such a lovely environment and friendly atmosphere the staff are really friendly

Went here for an awards evening with the local football club. They struggled to cope with the number of people
Wanting drinks to start with but did get better as the evening went on.

Overal not a bad venue at all for this type of event just need to be aware of numbers

Always a well kept establishment .
On this occasion the Tavaners classic bike club held a charity auction in the main function room of which I am a member.
A good night had by all I believe.
The venue has a number of rooms available for all types of functions.
Adequate parking spaces,
A well ran establishment ideal for private parties and events, or just a drink with friends.
Good access, parking and space inside to accommodate people with mobility issues.

Fab place for a party, annoyed I didn't get to try the range of sambuccas 😃

This is my local club, it's worth becoming a member, the party's from kids to adults they put to on are always very good.
