Good place, full masaj deep tissue was indeed great. Can be cleaner but in general is a good Spa brand. amazing steam and sauna + good facilities with the outdoor jacuzzi too.

Didn't tried but they have a coffee shop too.

A friend and I went for a spa day. The treatments were great. Parking plenty. We borrowed a spa bag which included a gown, towel and slippers. The gowns are really worn with holes in them and towel tiny. Did put a dampener at the beginning. If your bigger don't expect the gown to fit either, they only have one size. Facilities are good. Very popular with local people.

Amazing place, clean, hygienic and well maintained. Visited yesterday for my first ever spa day, special shout out to Katie for my first ever massage, she was so friendly, accommodating and seriously relaxed me.

The pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were lovely and cleaned regularly during our day as were the changing rooms. Although we were disappointed by the lack of options in the cafe the lovely ladies made up for it. Would definitely love to return again soon, thank you for looking after us.

Great range of machines, nice hot tub, great sports facilities such as indoor tennis and squash. Alot of benches and equipment so you don't have to wait around to use a station. Definitely reflects the price well while also having a swimming pool jacuzzi sauna and steam. Very relaxing with a TV by the jacuzzi for great relaxation 😌

Really not impressed. Please save your money and go elsewhere. I had a spa day for two (luxury one apparently) for my friend and I. These are not cheap and a complete luxury - not something we do more than once every two years really! The spa section is no where near the pool or cafe etc, there is nowhere to sit, relax, chill with your friend/party. No seating area at the pool even!
You get charged £20 each on top for the robes! Surely should be part of the package at that price! After purchasing coffees and a snack, we decided to skip the idea of lunch - the cafe is no more than a takeaway place with very little on offer.
The treatments were listed as express... express is an understatement, 3 treatments in half an hour! Not even worth having and the two members of staff barely said a word - not at all welcoming or relaxing.
Whole place is cold, the toilets and showers sink of urine. We were so disappointed and feel we really wasted our money. Never return to a Ballatynes spa

Treatments fantastic. Was meant to be a relaxing spa day but loud aqua aerobics going on in pool and only 4 chairs around pool, no where near enough. Sauna and indoor jacuzzi not working. Able to use outdoor jacuzzi which was nice and hot. Beds out side but way too cold to sit outside.

Place has gone down the toilet over the years and is now a rip-off. Charge for kids membership but nothing for kids to do unless you take them swimming. Can’t leave them anywhere if you want to train, you need to be with your child at all times. Was asked if my 11 year old could wait in my car instead of their cafe, where he was eating, as it’s against their policy— but they were happy to take £25 a month for him join. If he wants to play tennis it’s £12 an hour on top of that £25 a month — and that’s a group, not a lesson. The facilities are abysmal. Nothing has been improved in years. Old and dirty changing rooms and a cold jacuzzi most days. Machines that break are never fixed. No chest incline for 3 months. Cross trainers break and they don’t fix them. One by one they’ve broken. They have 6 out of 20 left now. This place isn’t spending a penny and charging top dollar.
Cafe staff are ancient and don’t even clean the tables. The food is just heated up for £5-£11 a meal. The menu isn’t even suitable for gym. There isn’t a healthy option on it. The worst place you could possibly join.

A quite big gym, with a wide range of machines, with some quiet spaces to do your stretching, and some awesome classes with professional and friendly instructors. Usually, the water in the swimming pool is good, but way to much chlorine. Have a look at the schedule, there is limited time for kids. In the hallway might be quite cold, so get something to keep you warm. Both saunas are very good and the Jacuzzi is perfect.
