La Casita Restaurant

Great little restaurant in the heart of Guildford town centre. The service was brilliant, our server knew the menu and was happy to offer suggestions. Food was good, well portioned and flavourful. The menu has lots of options and the drink selection was reasonable.

This is our fifth visit to La Casita over the years. This time round, we all felt like having seafood and whilst La Casita serves tapas, it does have a reasonable seafood tapas section (squid, baby octopus, white bait, prawns).

Most of the dishes were tasty, albeit chorizo dish was unbalanced and salty.

The staff are friendly, relaxed and attentive. Since the last time we visited, they have updated their decor: Ambience is bright and airy with an elegant/simple backdrop.

Overall, a pleasant lunch- we left filled and satisfied.

On arrival. As we didn't have a booking, the waitress made it seem like a huge inconvenience for us to dine, even tho the place was fairly empty throughout. We eventually ordered and the food came out pretty quick . The meat and cheese board was well presented. Then the rest of our tapas came out the croquettes were tasty and crispy. However only got 4 for £7. There was a potato dish with garlic mayo dumped on top. Prawns were nothing to jump about . Over all this place is a lovely atmosphere. But quite over priced for what you get

Lovely tapas restauraunt. Great selection of tapas, with very good Paellia. Sangria was very good.

Main dish was lush. Really happy with food if only sitting place can be bit more comfortable/ cosy .......

Brilliant little Spanish restaurant. Service was very friendly and the food was so yummy. They were really accommodating with our table and we would definitely come back.

Tapas were decent, same for the service. the down side is the waiting time which was little bit longer.

My favourite restaurant. Couldn't praise this place enough. Better tapas & paella than I could find in Barcelona. Staff are fantastic, and the prices/portions very fair. Pre-book to avoid disappointment.
