Llangennith Surf School

Guy delivered a great lesson and we were having fun for the whole 2.5hr lesson. So much so we went back a couple of days later!

Great surf school. I took my 10 year old and 13 year old. Listened in . Great safety review and clear tuition. Both standing up after 10 minutes in the water. Really impressed !!! Highly recommend

Guy was a really great instructor, he helped me to unlearn some bad habits I picked up previously and the lesson was of great value - he even rented me out a board, wetsuit and boots the next day for a generous price so I really appreciate that!

My friends and I have had a brilliant 3 days learning to surf with Guy at Llangennith surf school. Guy is a brilliant instructor, he's calm professional, friendly and fun, and takes time to give each person in the group tailored coaching so they can make the most of their experience. I've been on a few surf trips before and Guy is by far the best instructor I've had. I learned so much about surfing and the sea and have gained valuable tips that have helped me to progress. Everyone in the group made great progress in just a couple of lessons. Thank you so much Guy for a great time on the water. We'll be back!!

Guy is the best instructor, he makes you feel very safe and comfortable in the water and has great tips for beginners and improvers. I didn't feel like I was rushed and also felt like I got a lot of useful knowledge and enthusiasm to keep me going during the session! Also provides lots of equipment so you are warm and safe! Excellent

Four of us had a surfing lesson with Guy last weekend and it was fantastic! We were a beginner group but came on leaps and bounds during the session thanks to Guy’s expert instruction and coaching. A great experience and we will certainly be back again!

Guy who runs the Llangennith Surf School is an excellent instructor. He is friendly, patient, calm (both adults and children!) and made our enjoyment and safety his number one priority. He had the whole family standing on their boards by the end of the session. Guy clearly loves surfing and wants others to enjoy it too.

Guy breaks down the instructions into basic, easy-to-understand steps without being condescending and injects a bit of fun too.

Don't be put off by the lack of signage, or the out of date website - this is a top rate surf school. We went back 2 more times!

Had 3 amazing lessons with Guy on Rhossili beach! We had barely any surfing experience but even by the end of the first lesson we were all standing up on the boards and by the second we were steering! Guy is an excellent teacher and is clearly an expert in his field. If you are heading to the area (which you definitely should) you need to have a surf lesson with Llangennith surf school so that you are prepared to one day catch your fifty year storm!
