The Pirate Castle runs drop-in paddlesport sessions for over 50s, every Wednesday 11:00 - 13:00 during term-time. It's a bargain at only £3 per session - tea, biscuits and friendly chit-chat included! Come and get active, make friends and enjoy the great outdoors at Camden's amazing boating charity!

Attended a birthday party here. Clean and tidy environment with kitchen and event room for rent. Great location on the canal. Plan to get the kids to go kayaking here soon!

What a fantastic venue. The pagan federation London has now had 2 seasonal festive gatherings here .. for midsummer and Lammas. And everyone loves it. The venue overlooks the canal water..large windows open to let breeze in. Great for a gathering of 50 to 70 people.

We had a really great time here! Two families, kids age 3 - 8. The crew were friendly and accommodating and the 3 hour round trip itself was ace. Thank you Pirate Folks!

I loved my kayak tour with The Pirate Castle 🏰🛶

It's a great charity working with young people in Camden and beyond to promote better life chances and healthier living.

The walls nearby are covered in gang tags. Gangs prey on younger people in the area and an aim of The Pirate Castle is to help move them away from gangs and into activities on the canals, forming friendships and 'gangs' they can be proud to belong to.

If you're looking for something different to do in London I'd highly recommend their tour, and a bonus is you're supporting their great work too 😊
