Keele Sports Centre

The sports centre needs functioning AC as it gets pretty hot and humid most of the time. As a lecture room it it's unfortunately not the best the seats are tattered and the small retractable desks are annoying and have various forms if vandalism displayed on them ... I think it's safe to say it needs some serious refurbishing

Dated facilities that could do with improving if I am honest. The main issue is the ageing building that is looking very tired and desperately needs demolishing. The kit inside is ok but again dated and showing its age. Most of the machines are basic with few varied programmes for fitness and most of them are in the wrong units by default to start. With memberships a bit on the high side this is not especially good value for money either. They could do with opening at 7am or before on weekdays as well for people with busy lives. That said the staff are friendly and approachable and overall it's ok, but could be a lot better.

Outstanding university, the atmosphere is great. The lectures have lots of time for you to learn. The campus is large and the surrounding area is lovely for walks.

I was really impressed by the quality of the physio service here. Able to book on line and get a 30 mins session for only £15. Excellent idea. Student led service that anyone can take advantage of.

Very old concrete climbing wall. It has some classic boulder problems. The thick paint over the holds is slowly and carefully being cleared to reveal the natural rock texture again.
