Runners Need Wandsworth

Awful experience and customer care, shop assistant is a rude, hostile twat who is unwilling to divide his attention between two customers.
He was having an *endless* happy chat with the lady before me about warm socks, bright colours and ideal running weather whilst I had to struggle for several minutes to get basic attention (my right size shoes). He also pretended not to understand me and then tried to educate me that I should be just waiting for my turn.(I spent 15 mins in the shop not being served!) Avoid!

Considering I spent over £100 on some running shoes here the service was not good. Was not greeted when I walked in and had to hover about before approaching a sales assistant who abruptly interrupted me with 'I'm in the middle of something' after lots of huffing and puffing they Cycle Works staff went to get the Runners Need guy from the back. He was a lot more helpful. They made me feel like I was an inconvenience , not a pleasant shopping experience!

Was in and out of here in 20 mins with the best pair of running shoes I've ever owned. Staff were friendly and no nonsense and the shoes they recommended for me have been brilliant at helping reduce injury and pain in my knees. Also have Cycle Surgery at the same location, so brilliant if you run and cycle.

What a frustrating visit. Went to buy some running shoes and get my gait tested. Waited for half an hour in the shop without even being nodded to as one sales assistant hid and the other dealt with everyone else......left without getting anything.

Got some of the most hostile, unfriendly and unhelpful customer service I've ever experienced here.
Needed to try on new running shoes and so went on the tread mill - I'm an experienced runner but used to running outdoors so was taking a bit of time getting used to the machine. I'm not sure though why the assistant thought it was acceptable to start openly mocking me and encouraging other customers to make remarks as well.
After I’d stopped, his attitude continued to be completely condescending and made me want to walk out as quick as I could.
I can only imagine how unwelcome and put off a total newcomer would have felt. I needed to buy a great deal more than just running shoes but certainly won't from here. Congratulations on permanently losing a customer 👏🏻

Joe at Runners Need: really helpful, knows the products well to give good advise and very patient. Made what I thought would be a boring and frustrating shopping trip an enjoyable experience. Thank you Joe.

Terrible service. Rude members of staff. Came in when there was one customer. Sat down and started to look at specific product but be one offered to help. There were two members of staff with one customer and the third was just at the till. Wouldn't recommend this place at all as even when I made them aware they weren't willing to help and made excuses.

I had my first Gait Analysis ever today with Joe.

As a new runner trying couch to 5km app I knew that I wanted to start off with the right footwear. Joe was AMAZING. We had a few appointments booked for myself, my cousin, my brother and even my mum (who is in her 70's and recently started walking more as part of her healthier lifestyle). We all left with new trainers suited for our specific and individual needs.

Joe is knowledgable, fantastic and gave great customer service! We even learned how to do our laces better! Thank you so much! Happy customer
