Looking for specific trainers, purchased before. Found them on display quickly, sales assistant in vicinity, checked stock and handed over within minutes, paid and on way in under 10 minutes on a Saturday

Dreadful customer service, sullen unhelpful staff. Girl on till didn't utter a word, not a thank-you let alone a smile, very unimpressed.

The location came as a recommendation from family while we were visiting from overseas. We found exactly what we were looking for (hoodies and a premier league jersey) at great prices! We will be back again when we return.

Very rude staff
I would never prefer to go back to this store again even though it is less than 0.1 miles for me.
The sales and counter staff doesn’t seems to be in feeling like you at all. They responded in less than a word and look at you ask if it was a crime to ask a question

If you like bagging yourself a bargain go no further and get down to sports direct, managed to pick myself up some "No Fear" professional in-line skates for myself and also a pair of slip on Lonsdale trainers for £26.99, the only bad thing is the wife likes them to so popping down tomorrow before going to park with me skates. Thanks Mike for some unbeatable prices and on trend leisure wear.👍

The staff don’t even deserve 1star, most unhelpful bunch ever. Very unfriendly and quite frankly off putting

Me and my sister experienced terrible customer
service here today. We found a pair of shoes we liked,
and politely asked a member of staff to bring us out a
size 5 so we could try it on. He directed us to ask one
of his colleagues to do it, instead of himself.

We went over to said colleague asked for the shoe in
a size 5, to which he checked and said there was only
a size 4. We found another shoe we liked and asked
him to check for those instead, to which he brought
out a pair in the correct size but with a pink tick
instead of a white one. We thanked him, but declined
the offer to try on the shoe.

We decided to have another look around and found a
final third shoe we liked. Upon asking if he could
check if there was a size 5 he said "you'll have to give
me a minute" rather rudely. We waited for him to
finish several tasks before he checked for us. When
he was finally ready, and went to check he asked "a
size 5, yes?" To which we nodded but he repeated the
question until we responded verbally. Yet again there
was no size 5, only a 4. He handed us back the shoe
shaking it at us to take it and put it back on the shelf.

The whole time his tone was flat and unbothered, like
he was irritated that we had asked him to check
something out for us.

My sister told him "your attitude is quite rude, the
customer service is shocking here" to which he
replied "fair enough" and walked away. Clearly he
didn't care that we felt as though he had been rude to
us, as he didn't even offer an apology.

Overall we're very disappointed with how we were
treated today. We came in with intentions to buy a
pair of leggings and a top as well as a pair of shoes,
but we felt so uncomfortable that we just decided to
leave after several unpleasant encounters with staff.

The staff are ok apart from the store manager. The dark haired lady. What a sorry excuse of a manager. A customer trying to explain a defect in a garment and all she can do is roll her eyes like a teenager with a stink attitude.
