Brilliant family afternoon at the stadium, haven't been since I was a kid 👪, so it was time to take our kid 👍, thoroughly enjoyed by all, can't beat that smell of brakes, clutch, oil and screaming tyres, even more fun watching the teams using hiabs, sledge hammers and bars to get the cars ready for the next round 🤠👌😁

We went to watch the stock car racing and really enjoyed the experience! The tickets were quite expensive (£18 per adult), but they did put on at least 3 hours of continuous racing so it did feel like you got your money’s worth if you really enjoy stock car racing. You had to pay extra if you wanted to sit down inside the stadium which is worth noting (I think it was £1-2 per person).
The food options were quite limited to hot dogs, burgers etc but probably expected at a venue like this

Only giving this rating because the cost of getting in for a family was £55. Also had to pay £2 for parking car in a field. In order to see the cars we sat on a grass bank. Very limited seats available. It was well organised. It was a great afternoon watching the cars but next time will definitely be taking ear plugs!!

Great night. Me and my son enjoyed the monster truck and stunt show.. the balance and content was spot on . Great mix of vehicles and items. Food and beer prices reasonable. I did feel sorry for a disabled lady on walking sticks who had borrowed a chair and was outside in the area that said no chairs to be borrowed from bar area. The supervisor did his bit and asked her to take chair in as the sign instructed and I get why. Fire regs peoples views etc etc. But she was clearly in pain . I just think he could have offered her some solution instead of being a bit " you must move that chair"

Perhaps looking forward an area just for less able folk needs clearly marking or providing .? . besides this minor item . (Which really didn't affect me tbh ) it was a good visit and show was bob on.

I think that the electric vehicle (car in particular as the masses drive cars) is the most sensible way forward and I absolutely support the transition away from internal combustion engines,

HOWEVER,

This wouldn’t have been the same with electric motor cross bikes. Electric motorbikes. Electric drifting cars (although Tesla model 3 performance track mode is v v fun). And electric monster trucks lol.

And a jet powered car - let’s also keep that.

Get the masses into EV asap and offer obscene incentives for the commuter folk, but keep this stuff.

What a night lol - we went thinking it’ll either be absolutely terrible or absolutely amazing and it was the latter.

Highly recommended. You will be made deaf though… only for a bit :-)

First time visiting the restaurant which included dog racing, an amazing atmosphere during the races, with some of the staff friendly and helpful, others gave a feeling of wanting to be somewhere or doing something else, my starter was inedible and had to be returned to the kitchen which was not as straightforward as I would have expected,
I was served bbq ribs that was nothing more than a block of cartilage/grizzle with sauce on top, my main course arrived, a turkey dinner, potatoes were very dry, almost as if reheated, my Yorkshire pudding was rather more black than a golden brown, sad to say I ate very little of this course as it was very salty, something I never add to a meal, not even fish n chips, with out doubt this meal was the worst restaurant meal I have ever experienced.
My thoughts on the DJ at the end of the night didn't get any better,
I have to include this in my review,
The reason why I left the review in the first place, and I try not to be negative, but
I have been ill all day Sunday, tummy toilet wise,
So you could say I over indulged on alcohol,
I don't think one lager shandy counts
