Argyle on tour!! My grandchildren and me have come 300 miles to watch our team at Abbey Road. We came by train and have walked the City and the river Cam. Its all very beautiful......watch out for the crazy cyclists everywhere....they come from all directions!! The stadium is bigger than I expected but it's miles from the city centre. The away end seems to be the most modern but strangely it is quite a way back from the goal mouth. Bizarre. The rest of the stadium is bitty and not aesthetically pleasing. However, their support was good even though we outsang them. The tannoy is ineffective and very tinny. They outplayed us and we were beaten 2 nil.....but we were still singing at the end of the match. On to the next match. Good luck to United...they had plenty of character and tenacity and a good defence. 300 miles back to Plymouth tomorrow via London for a few hours....

Old fashioned, characterful stadium with two sides of terracing. The one modern seated stand is usually for away fans and is several feet back from the pitch. Home fans are generally cheerfull as are stewards.

I was in main stand block F for the friendly vs leicester. The seats are crammed in but they all have very good views of the pitch. You are so close to the pitch it is easy to see it all.
Where you are all so close too each other it helps make the atmosphere go that extra bit.

Parking is a bit manic. Would recommend the park and ride they put in available on their website. Or take a fair walk to get be able tonget out a lot easier

Small stadium but always almost full and supporting fans.

Really an old school stadium which may not be fit for purpose in the 21st century but it has character. Would be great to rebuild the stadium rather than moving out completely as the location is decent.

Nice little ground in the home end standing behind the goal. A great game full of goalmouth incident Doncaster even hit the woodwork 3 times

A nice little stadium. The most up to date part of the staduim is the away end. The price of a pint is still a little too high at £5, as their web site suggested £3.50, the pies £4.50 but still cheaper then at the london Stadium. And a seperate burger van. Didn't try the burgers but they did look good. The ground is open to the elements with no where warm to go in the cold months and as it is in the middle of the country side, can get pretty cold.

All in all, no frills, is what is football stadium, I liked it!!
