Awesome day out with family and friends in the hospitality care of a friend at the club. Food was amazing and the win for the dragons was even better.

Rodney Parade currently hosts Newport County football club.

It has two main stands, fully seated and covered, and a seated stand and a standing room only stand, uncovered, behind the goals.

From the way those uncovered stands are situated, it's likely that they are remnants of when this stadium hosted rugby union, but currently it is fully devoted to association football.

The atmosphere was typical of low quality football, but that's more down to the teams playing on the day rather than the general mood of the local population.

Food is available and is comparable to other League Two clubs.

If you live locally and can afford it, this is a great place to watch some footy.

Not a bad ground for a league 2 football club. Enjoyed watching a game here end of last season doing a bit of groundhopping. Better than a handful of L2 grounds out there. Good food and bar in the away area. Couple of really nice stands. Was also really impressed with the quality of the pitch. Also very baffled by the choir in the home end!! Was also very impressed with the Thatchers Cider adverts in the ground being in South Wales and not Somerset!

Fantastic. Great day out. Never disappointing. The family village , doom bar, big TV screen, close proximity to the field and the vocal partisan fans really help make this a great rugby ground. Just wish my team would win there more!

Saw hospitality advertised on The padded seat and decided to go with some friends. Debbie was brilliant as we were unsure about train strikes and Newport allowed us to reserve our places until 5 days before the game and pay then. Not many Clubs would do that as they want hard press fans money. Due to the train strike and having to drive they allowed us an extra parking space which they didn't have to do. Food was great and a lovely atmosphere. Full marks to everyone at Newport and we as a group will go back and spend our money there to support them. None of us are Newport fans but are now.👍

Decent ground, good bar location, top class hot dogs. If you're an away fan sitting on pitch side (covered stand) take a cap on clear days as low sun is blinding.

Has to be one of the best rugby stadiums in the country. Exactly the facilities that rugby fans news and expect, plus a cracking community feeling about it. We'll be going much more often!
