A lovely hidden gem, definitely worth a visit in all seasons. When we visited, there were very few others people around and we were able to appreciate the waterfall in seclusion.

Many options for walks branch off as the stream is followed. Looking forward to a visit in drier weather.

There is no parking close to the waterfall. Best to park in the residential areas away from the bottom of Plunge Road.

Lovely little waterfall to admire.
The water is fresh and is crystal clear. A great place to walk to, walk from or stop and take in the sounds of the water falling. Can be quite popular on a nice day as there's plenty of nearby walks in and around the waterfall... Leading to the nearby woodlands, windfarm, the stream, Edenfield and Ramsbottom.

I was looking for a waterfall and I found this hide one in this town.

On the map it says you can go by car but it’s actually a private road so we have to park on the road next to this one and walk for about 5/10 minutes.

It’s a quite area , nice for some pictures or just hear the water falling and relax.

Only place where you can leave your car is down in the town. Waterfall beautiful, really worth the walk.

Lovely circular or linear walk to a waterfall and small river. There's a picnic spot and an area for you to explore what's in the river. Walk completed with a 3 and 1 year old and a 4 month old baby. Could take a buggy on a good day. But it's fairly muddy - the baby carrier worked fine. There's some big steps down to the waterfall, but other than that it's all accessible.

Loved it!!!! So beautiful lot's of walking. Not wheelchair friendly. Very hilly but the children loved going in the waterfall. You have to park in the village pub car park £3.00 for the day then walk up hill to the waterfalls. Lovely village with a fish and chip shop, butchers, bakers and local shop. Unfortunately no toilets except in the pub.

Great little waterfall in a hidden forest I never knew this place was here. It really is a hidden gem.

It is a nice place to go for a walk there is a nice waterfall and further up a small stream and a wooden bench to sit down and relax.

One thing I would also say is when it has rained the waterfall area gets very muddy and gos like quicksand.

Amazing hidden spot of nature to visit. Not too crowded when we were there. No car park there, but there was plenty space on mine road.

Suggest to follow the the stream to have the best walk and enjoy the most that nature can give.
