Crazily good stationary shop! Situated right in the heart of the town. The staff are really friendly, and the produce on sale is top quality! I also buy pens here when I'm in the area. Highly recommend

Love this shop and on today's visit staff were particularly pleasant and helpful. Love everything about it but particularly, coloured inks and fountain pens.

I received my diary yesterday, this company keeps you in touch with emails to let you know what is happening. When it arrived I was amazed at the care and quality that has gone into packing this product, from a beautifully wrapped packet in brown paper and string, even a small clip to attach the receipt to. Well done Bartrums, you have converted me into a life long customer. I cannot recommend you highly enough.

Fab little shop, with all you could ever need stationary wise. Staff were very helpful and shared own personal knowledge regarding pens and inks. Have also used their online facility and services were excellent. Worth a visit to the shop!

Just lovely. It's a gorgeous little shop if you're lucky enough to be in Hay on Wye. If not, your order arrives promptly and beautifully packed, wrapped with brown paper and string, inside the outer wrapping.

Lovely range of pens and stationery and intriguing art and craft supplies. Badges, stickers, postcards ... for anyone with an uncontrolled love of these kinds of things this is a gorgeously risky place to visit!

My grandchildren spent their pocket money that they had saved up over many weeks. They were excited to be choosing small items with their money , however the lady that served us didn’t engage with us and if she had cracked a smile it would have been nice. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice to children when they love what you sell. Not welcoming at all !
