As you can expect with any physical store these days, most products can be found cheaper online. However what you do get here is advice from experienced staff who can answer your questions and advise you about the right products that you need to use. There is an abundance of stock which can be difficult to browse but if you ask the staff they are happy to dig out the right product for you. I will always support this store because it’s great to have it on my doorstep and be able to grab things when you need to. Much more specialised items than you can find in the supermarket or hobbycraft. I would like to see them stocking more items that lean towards more modern styles of cake decorating but I think overall that it’s a good store! I see most comments here are about rude staff which is something I have yet to experience, however I do find people are quick to leave a review after a negative experience and less likely to do so after a positive one.

Rude staff! I bought my hubby 2 cake decorating lessons, (2x1hr)the lady who gave him the lesson was lovely and friendly and he learnt a lot. When he went to book his next lesson (with a different lady) he was told he couldn't have a full hour as this lesson had been too long, even though his actual lesson was an hour (he was talking to the lady for a bit before....you know, being friendly! ) My hubby makes loads of cakes and buys lots of bits and pieces but will never go there again! He didn't even get to have his other hour so a waste of money too 😒

What an amazing cake maker! Debbie's creation from my idea was absolutely stunning and made my son's 30th birthday!. Attention to detail and the fondant figures were so lifelike he didn't want anyone to eat it. The chocolate sponge was so moist and tasty . I would not hesitate to recommend twins for any celebration cakes. All the staff were welcomming and very professional and the price was very reasonable for all the work involved. Once again...thank you for an amazing cake... 5 stars

I visit this place almost 3 to 5 times a month if not more and spend 30-60 pounds every single time, i usually come with the mrs and my 2 little girls. Even though i have never ordered a cake from here, we shop here alot as the product range is huge and earns them an easy 4 star. I hope the store dont mind my comment as i genuinly believe all the staff here are lovly but a kind word and a little smile goes a long way. Nevertheless, if u r a baker, this is your heaven. Come c for your self. N thank me later.

Very poor customer service! Extremely rude staff! And they had nothing I needed in stock. Not very welcoming to their loyal customers. They still won’t let you in the shop without a mask, even if you have an exemption! The member of staff pointed at me from the stairs (without a mask on herself) and said “No! You stand by the door!” In front of my mother and the lovely lady at the till who was already speaking to me about the mask situation. I would have happily stood by the door and waited to pay, if I was addressed like a human being and not some animal that walked in off the street. I would like to remind Twins that not all disabilities are visible, not to mention the anxiety it caused me for all of the two seconds it would have taken to get what I needed and get out of the shop. It’s such a shame because we have been going to this cake shop for years. Even I would find another one or shop on online stores instead candle&cake.com is a good one with lots of deals and discounts and more up to date stock.

Oasis and every cake makers fantasy. They have everything you could possibly imagine and having been here for over 30 years, this is one business that online can't replace as its just not the same. You need to see these things in the flesh.

Shop has his own policy of wearing face mask. As it’s not national requirement anymore you would not know unless you shop there often. I would wear face mask if new or if I was offered one for free but they are actually selling them for £0.50. At the same time member of staff didn’t wear one at all and another member only put it on when I entered the shop. Very very disappointing.
