1085 Adventures

Spend jubilee weekend Saturday using 1085 Adventures ebikes and it was the highlight of the weekend. From the initial call for information throughout to returning bikes, customer service was incredible. Pleasant, helpfull, knowledgeable, accommodating. If like me you are not seasoned rider highly recommend ebikes. Will definitely book again.

Had a great day out with the guys from 1085 Adventures, great guides with great local knowledge. From the initial booking to the very end all first class. We cycled from Bangor to their HQ, great route, some great climbs descents and stunning views along the way. When we come back will definitely book again with them.

We booked mountain bikes for a ride. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had an urgent work
call to make, and they let me set the kids up with bikes before our hire time started.

The bikes were great quality - light framed Claude Butlers. I would recommend trying an electric bike - pretty similar to a normal mountain bike, but with a simply controlled assist to help you get up hills. And there are a few hills in this area!

Another highlight was seeing the Steam Train go passed!

So pleased that we dropped into the shop. After chatting for a few hours the friendly and knowledgable staff at 1085 set us up with an interesting and challenging mountain biking route, and dropped us off at the start 20 miles away (more importantly, 400 meters higher). Excellent service which made our weekend - if we hadn’t dropped into the shop we would have missed out.

If you’re into bikepacking, the shop has the best selection of carefully curated gear in north Wales (Hyperlite, Apidura, MSR, Ortlieb, Voile, plus Sonder bikes to hire). ... and if you’re in to coffee, these people have tried all the lightweight brewing gadgets and stock the best.

We went on a guided 18 mile mountain bike tour yesterday morning with Paul and had a great time. His local knowledge was informative and we would never have seen so much without his help! Would highly recommend if you want to get off the beaten track!

Friendly and helpful people running this small bike rental/shop. Hired 2 electric bikes and all went smoothly. Quick online booking process. Will use again when in the area.
