Arrived to early to eat in the restaurant, not them, us! Bought food to take away and eat at the national botanical gardens. Also bought bread to use the next day. Bread tasted great (focaccia and a sourdough), quiche was some of the best I've ever had, sandwiches they made were first class. Not cheap but it was worth it. Thank you!

Covid has obviously hit them hard. Before the pandemic curtailed how many people were willing to eat out, they had a fantastic menu, impeccable food, and a packed establishment. Their Cubano in particular was in great demand. The prices were a little on the steep side, but it was well worth it as an treat occasional treat.

When I and my SO visited there recently, we were not very surprised that the menu had been reduced, but we were surprised by just how much. Nevertheless we both ordered the Cubano, as it was something we had been craving all pandemic. When we got it, it was lukewarm, missing bacon (mentioned on the menu) and served in a big fluffy bloomer - which was not the bread that it was served in last time we were here, and is not a suitable bread for a Cubano sandwich, which needs to be pressed and toasted almost like a panini. It was not a satisfying experience, and I have trouble believing the claims of the staff that the recipe has not been changed.

All in all, I’m sad that this place that was once our go-to for a nice Saturday midday meal is now somewhere where we will likely not step food in again without some indication that their standards have recovered and their food is again once again worth the high prices they still charge.

Great meals that are delicious, filling and full of flavor. We love to eat outside in their patio area but there is also plenty of seating indoors. Takeaway meal this week was vegetarian and portions were defined for four meals! Love to visit their shop for local handcrafted goods. Fresh produce, ciders, beers and fresh baked goods. Have not had fresh lemonade ever and theirs was heavenly. Something for everyone and an exceptional gem!

We instantly liked Wright’s.

A quiet charm, engaged and warm staff, a lovely lived-in feel to the furnishings. Excellent food; locally sourced, organic, tasty.

My companion chose the beef sandwich, and confessed it excellent. I had the roasted beetroot with an aubergine side, accompanied with an marvellous rosé fizz.

Excellent quirky cafe/restaurant/bar/deli that is soooo much more than it looks from the outside. Beautiful location too. Food amazing but always a good idea to book.

Went there today for what we hoped would be some form of Sunday lunch only to find that the menu was more similar to a street cafe ie very limited with little or no choices for vegans which was one of the main reasons we went. Very disappointed and somewhat surprised that it was so busy as the food was average. Been going there for some years so not be going back

After avoiding the floods around Llandeilo visited Wrights, car park mostly full but taken straight to an unreserved table.

Managed to order food off the menu which Wrights were happy to provide.

Great food and service - I would highly recommend this place

Warm, welcoming and cosy by the fire in the back room. The menu wasn't very extensive but the quality definitely outshone the quantity here. We will be back!
