Stermat Hardware

A fabulous treat while visiting family - an hour in Stermat (no sarcasm). Stermat is fantastic!! An Aladdin's cave of everything for the home and outside. Spent £40 on things I needed (at very reasonable prices) and things I didn't realise I needed. An amazing place that I keep going back to, every time I visit.

Purchased a toilet seat which turned out to be faulty, would not tighten up. I produced a receipt but was told by the owner that there was no return on toilet seats. Having explained that I was returning the seat due to it being faulty and would like a replacement but was still refused. Dont bother shopping here if there is any chance you might want to return or exchange anything. This store does not seem to be aware of the phrase 'unfit for purpose' or that everyone is entitled to a refund on faulty goods.

Excellent place . Stermat definitely the best hardware shops in North Wales. Went there again a couple of days ago. Still the same . Best.hardware shop going. Staff are brilliant as well

Went to shop today around 3pm to see that the manager of the store shouting at a member of the public because she needed a refund on some paint that she bought a couple of days ago.... Hadn't I been there I would not of believed it...... Auful

Request to change paint from magnolia to white. Refused as I had no receipt. Gave details of purchases off bank app on the 7th plus Stermat price on pot. Not good enough according to staff as I had no receipt. I only wanted to exchange not a refund. It would have been simple as there were pots of the same paint on floor opposite counter.

As with their sister branch in treborth I feel I'm being watched constantly. It really makes me feel uncomfortable when shopping there. There is no trust there. The store is well stocked and I purchased what I wanted and got out quick

A great range of stuff at very good prices. Must be one of the last shops to still have sticky price labels on everything! Old school, fantastic!
