A delightful and welcoming, dog friendly cafe. Friendly staff member (sorry, didn’t catch their name) who was attentive, knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about the food. We had two caramel lattes, a scotch egg and sausage roll, all amazingly delicious. Followed by two slices of cake, again, absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend stopping here enough.

Lovely lunch in very pretty surroundings. Beautiful fresh grown food. Great combinations of flavours and happy to make adaptions on an individual basis.

My wife, my Dad and I just enjoyed a quality, great value lunch in a little gem of a place. Simon and Amy serve up organic, home cooked fare, bursting with flavour. The salads that accompanied our sausage roll, scotch egg and ploughman's lunch were so fresh and tasty. Cous cous with feta crumbled through it was a winning combination. The french bean and courgette salad was a pleasant partnership. Both the coleslaw and potato salad were far from ordinary. The cakes similarly did not disappoint. The blueberry and almond cake was stunning, the chocolate cake challengingly gooey and the bara brith packed with succulent fruit. Along with two bird-baths of lattes and a 2.5 cup pot of tea, all for pennies over £40 represents superb value. Well done Both. God bless

Absolutely gorgeous! Warm welcome, great food, beautiful place and set in stunning countryside. The deli is full of wonderful fresh veg, bread, cheese, pies and cakes, plus there is a freezer full of lovely meals, I took a box of goodies home. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer, but I will be making a detour to come back whenever I'm in the area again.

A little treasure.... with lovely cakes and friendly service and also has local veg on sale. The café is best described as snug indoors but there's additional space outside when the weather permits.

Delicious home made cakes, small in cold months but large garden for warmer months

Delightful little deli/cafe - well worth making a little journey out to visit. Attractive dining area adorned with lovely bunches of dried flowers. Very good sandwiches, both toasted and plain, served with lovely leafy salad. Coffee was delicious, having a good flavour without being bitter. We were also introduced to Monnow Valley apple juice, which was fabulous. Some nice things in the deli, where we also bought some great cakes, including a very good Chelsea Bun!
