Cwmdonkin Park Café and Shop

Crumpets and tea served from the kiosk in a China cup in the park of the bard. On a crisp blue sky sunny morning. What else does anyone need?

Lovely little café in a perfect spot. Just a great place to stop for tea, scones, ice cream or sandwiches while enjoying one of the best small parks in the UK.

Great place to bring the kids. There's a play area, slide, playing field, tennis courts and basketball area. There's also a small cafe that sells drinks and snacks and toilets.

Lovely cafe and park. Ideal for a catch up with friends in the open air.

Very friendly staff! My son fell and cut his finger on the slide. Went to the cafe to get a plaster. The manager there got his first aid kit out, cleaned the cut with gel and put a plaster on. He was very compassionate while doing so. What a hero. Even give my son some ice-cream. Would highly recommend this place.

Quite expensive for a family to go and buy treats. Could get a whole premium tub of ice cream elsewhere for a scoop in there. 😐 Don't pass your costs onto your customers...

We always enjoy having a coffee at the cafe and sitting outside in Cwmdonkin Park with its lovely surroundings.

What happened to this cafe????

This used to be a great little cafe with good quality food and drinks, at reasonable prices.

Went there today and had 2 cakes which were very small and tasted bland, and a lolly which was no bigger than a thumb (I kid you not).

Disappointed.
