A nice old fashioned station. A bit short of exit barriers but the lift is way quicker than escalators. Very handy for The Roundhouse.

Tfl should change the name of this station from "Chalk Farm" to "Shut" .
"The next station is shut" you would hear once you reach Camden Town Edgware branch.

There was a kind staff member who payed me 20p from his own money to complete full day charge, God bless you, this person is the soul of this place.

This is just a small tube station with its traditional charm. It is on the Edgware branch of the Northern line between Camden Town to the south and Belsize Park to the north, and falls in Travelcard Zone 2. The last time I was there, it had a convenient convenience store just close to the main entrance.

Please don't close this station early on weekends as travelling from this station is a big bonus and I rate the staff there and its location

sadly no farm and not much chalk either. even worse, bearded men in shorts everywhere☹️ still, plenty of dodgy types so just cop your wares and get out of here

Coming out of Chalk Farm station is like entering a ghetto all the busy shops and cafes on the park side all boarded up, for how long is this eye sore to remain?

Yet another average tube station which still retains it's classic building façade, which is nice to see. Lifts can take you up to the surface but you'll still need to climb some steps to reach them which can be very annoying.
