Booths, Barrowford

This is an up date on my review, as of yet nothing has changed. But they are now equipping the kitchen to enable serving hot sandwiches and full breakfasts, this should be within the next few weeks. I have to add that the staff in the cafe are absolutly fantastic. Please read the end of my review!!!This is an excellent supermarket. Good choice of items,and a wide range of quality products. If you have a booths card you can have a free coffee every time you spend anything. That also applies in the lovely relaxing cafe. Saturday lunchtime I have just caled in and am pleasantly surprised by live music, how relaxing and chilled out Unfortunately after opening the cafe after lockdown, they have decided that you can't have any hot food in the cafe. Even though they still make and serve hot sandwiches, and hot snacks you are not allowed to have them in the cafe 'take away only' This is madness to me, and has upset a lot of the regular customers, who do not go any more. But they have repackaged the very limited sandwiches they have in the cafe and nearly doubled the price. Also no more coffee. Bad move Booths, no wonder your cafe is now empty!!!!!

Love this supermarket! The customer service is second to none, the staff are so friendly and the produce is lovely. Wish we had one where we live!

Fabulous shopping experience, very welcoming and helpful staff. A lovely sense of order and calm, cleanliness and care the minute you walk through the door. Lovely cafe.

Pure joy to shop here. Highest quality merchandise with a wide choice. The fruit and vegetables are a vision to behold and the fish tempting really fresh and bright eyed. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgable on the products. Help ranged from finding products answering queries on sugar content assistance with packing all accompanied by friendly smiles. But watch out for the Car parking area behind the store it does not actually belong to the store and it is pay and park. Next time I'm going to enjoy the cafe really looking forward to that😉

Went for breakfast, advised they only had 2 sausages left.. asked if they could wander downstairs for more stock "no" was the answer to that..
I asked if they could compensate my 3 sausage breakfast with more items to make up for it, "i suppose we can, yes".
No orange juice in the fridges "but I think we have some in the back, it'll be warm though..."
Not much initiative going on here unfortunately and I'm always intrigued at how supermarket cafes can run out of produce....
That said, a nice setting and good food once arrived.

Bought the turkey this morning at a great price it has no water injected into it no additives purely & simply a whole turkey with giblets. Just what I wanted and £30 is a great price...

We visited for the cafe. Food was slow to arrive, although there were many vacant tables they did not seem able to keep up with demand. Nice food, but my friend's hot chocolate was nearly cold by the time his food came!

Always a nice selection of foods. Certainly not the cheapest supermarket chain but you can and will find some good offers. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
